This is Jana, she is an 8 year old female Maine C**n. Unfortunately we are having to rehome her. She would need to be an only pet, definitely no dogs. Loves to hang around her owners but not a lap cat. Loves a good brush and a tummy rub. Based in Christchurch.

Kitty Diamond is still looking for a home. I have retired Kitty Diamond (Shiningwater Diamond Bright) from breeding and now she is looking for a home where she will be the only cat. She is turning 5 years old in May and is a Silver Tortie Tabby. Whilst she has other cats that she lives with at my place she will be more relaxed being a only cat for a while. She is shy with new people but very cuddly and really enjoys having her coat brushed. She does not have very long fur but it does thicken up and her Mane gets longer in winter. She has no road sense so this something that her new owners will need to be aware of and think about. If you are interested or would like more information please do not hesitate to contact me.

She is turning 5 years old and is a Silver Tortie Tabby. Whilst she has other cats that she lives with at my place, I want her to go to a home where she will be the only cat. Had Omar (Shiningwater Moon Warrior), Olive (Furtastic Olive), Rory (Mainelanders Rory Brown) and Uri (Rebelpawz Uriel PP) hearts all scanned today for HCM (Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy) by Richard Lucy. Perfect hearts for each of them. Thank you Zena from Shiningwater Maine C***s for arranging Richard to come.

It has been a very quiet 3 years at Furtastic Maine C***s but in the last month we have been blessed with 2 beautiful litters. RebelPawz Uriel (Uri) and Mainelanders Rory have had 6 kittens and yesterday Shiningwater Diamond Bright (Kitty Diamond) and Rory had 5 kittens. Kitty Diamond kept her pregnancy hidden until the very last moment so it was a massive surprise to see 5 kittens. First time I have had a ginger/cameo? Some of the kittens are on hold but we will have a couple of kittens available.

Unfortunately we have had to give up on Alaska becoming a breeding girl. She has been away visiting another stud but no luck so I picked her up the other day and will get her desexed and she will live with us as a pet. Such a shame because she is such a sassy beautiful cat. However exciting news as below is the new kitten coming as the replacement breeding girl. We got to meet her last Saturday and she is very beautiful. She is a silver tortie tabby. So fingers crossed she will visit Omar (my stud boy) at the end of the year and we will have kittens in the new year. Her pedigree name is Shiningwater Diamond Bright but not sure yet what her pet name will be. Lorinda

Thank you to everyone who liked and asked about my last lot of kittens. I am delighted that they have all been sold to wonderful homes and 4 of the kittens got to go with a brother or a sister to their new homes which is great.
There are no more kittens planned for a while as I am going to have a break for a bit. Not sure how long as I do love having kittens in the house and of course it totally depends on my new breeding girl Alaska liking my stud boy Omar who is adorable.

Finally some photos of the kittens. They are 7 weeks old. The boy is the one with the beauty spot. The two kittens are sleeping with Alaska my my white breeding girl but she is not their mum. Hopefully she will have a litter in a months time. i have decided not to keep any kittens from this litter. I can't decide as they all have their goods points and are beautiful colours.

Olive and I had a very busy night last night. Olive my breeding girl wouldn't stop calling from having her last kittens so I put her with my boy Omar as she only had 2 more litters to go and I was going to retire her. Omar loves the girls and so Olive ended up pregnant and was due yesterday. She had 2 beautiful kittens naturally late yesterday and then for 3 hours nothing happened. I had had her xrayed so I knew there were between 7 and 8 kittens due. I rung my fantastic vets (Pet Doctors at the Gardens) and Vet Gidget said to bring her on down as it was concerning as Olive normally has her kittens very easily. Upon xraying and exam it was decided to give her a c section. Within about 5 minuets the Vet Nurse Emma and the Vet Stephanie all turned up to help. Olive then had via c section 4 more kittens. We lost two of the kittens. I can't thank Gidget, Stephanie and Emma enough for the wonderful care they took of Olive and her kittens. Early this morning Stephanie was texting to see how Olive was as she had a worrying night (we didn't leave the surgery until 1.30 am this morning so the vets didn't get much sleep either) thinking about Olive. However Olive had a good night and the 6 kittens are doing really well. Olive though due to blood loss had to be spayed will having her surgery so these kittens are the very last Olive and Omar babies. They make the most beautiful kittens so I will be keeping a girl from this litter (fingers crossed) to keep that lovely line going. Lorinda

Furtastic Maine C***s has this stunning girl for sale. She would not co operate in having her photo taken hence the peeking around the wall. She has a great personality but not that keen on yelling children so probably best with a family with older children or a couple. She loves sitting on your knee while watching the tv and has a great purr. Viewing welcome.

She is pictured with Alaska the big white cat and this wee girls white face and mane will look similar to Alaska's.

Furtastic Maine C***s has this stunning 10 week old female kitten available. She is a black silver and white tabby. She will be ready for her new home at the end of January.

This is the latest addition to Furtastic's breeding programme. Alaska (Shiningwater Baked Alaska) a pure white (sorry it's dirt in her ear not a freckle) Maine C**n and she will be be mated with my stud boy Omar when it is time. We should get white kittens, brown tabby and brown tabby and white kittens and I am not sure what other colours will come from the mating. Very exciting.
