Vets@ St. Clair will be operating under the new traffic light system from Friday 3rd Dec.
What this means for you:
- you must wear a mask
- you must either scan into the covid tracer app or give us your details so we can add you to a register
- we will need to scan your vaccine passport as you enter (we would appreciate it if you could have this out and ready to be scanned)
- we encourage you sanitize your hands
If you have chosen to not get vaccinated, haven't quite finished being vaccinated or have not yet got a vaccine passport we will still see your pet. This can be done in a couple of different ways:
- examination without owner - this means we will come out and get your pet from your car, examine, and ring you on your phone and talk about treatment options
- a family member or friend who is vaccinated can come in with your pet
If you have an exemption for the mask or vaccine, please let us know before the appointment. Expect us to ask you to wait outside while we examine your pet. Don't worry, this won't impact the quality of care you receive for your pet.
We anticipate this will be difficult until we all get used to having our passports scanned. However due to the physical size of the clinic and the small number of staff we need to stay as safe as possible so we can continue providing you with services. Please remember we will be able to see your pet, provide medication, and food no matter what your vaccine status is, it may just be a bit different to what you are used to.
