Dear our lovely clients,

As some of you may know already, on the 5th of December we will be merging with Humanimals Veterinary Clinic and temporarily closing St Kilda Veterinary Clinic.

This has not been an easy decision, however due to severe vet shortages felt across the country and an overwhelming workload, the merge to join forces with the team down at Humanimals Veterinary Centre can mean we can still provide the best care for our clients and your pets.

All records from Mornington and St Kilda Vets will all be accessible from Humanimals. The phone will divert to Humanimals Clinic commencing 5th December.

We apologise for the inconvenience and we ask for kindness and patience while we adjust to this merge. We look forward to seeing you and your pet at Humanimals Veterinary Clinic, 44 Rankeilor Street, South Dunedin.

Thank you,

The team at Mornington & St Kilda Veterinary Centres

Do you use veterinary services in New Zealand?
Dr. Francesca Brown is interested in your perceptions as a client of veterinary practice in New Zealand – regardless of whether you have small pets or a large commercial farming business or anything in between.

This is part of the data that will ultimately be used to develop business models for improving veterinary clinics for the benefit of animals, clients and staff. As part of the initial data collection, she would like to understand what the current business practices are for veterinary practices.

Participation will be open to clients of any veterinary practice in New Zealand and your responses will be anonymous. Full details of the project can be reviewed on the opening page of the survey. This research has been approved by the Otago Polytechnic Research Ethics committee, reference number 907.

The survey can be accessed by clicking the link below

The survey will be open until Friday 6th August 2021 Thank you for considering participating in this research and contributing to the future success of the industry. Should you have any questions about this research please contact Francesca on [email protected] or phone 0800 762 786.

Many thanks in advance for your support of this project. The more data we can obtain the richer the information we will be able to share back with the veterinary industry to help the industry.

UPDATE : Bunni has been found!
A dear friend of our little clinic is still missing and her people are so very worried about her. Especially over this cold snap we have been having. Please keep an eye out for this beautiful cat (details in original post) last seen in the St Kilda/Musselburgh/Tainui area on 16th June. Please share around and keep an eye out for her. She is easy to identify with her stumpy tail. Please call us with any sightings on 4552042. Thank you 😌🐾
