RIP CLIFF ANDERSON
Many of you will remember Cliff as the wonderful photographer who helped me with the puppy photos right from the beginning of Taieri Spoodles. Anderson Photography was acknowledged on our photos and marketing material.

Cliff often went to great lengths to get the perfect shot and many a funny story could be told about our puppy photo shoots together.

Cliff was an integral help to Taieri Spoodles ( sometimes even puppy and house sitting for me) until about five years ago when he moved to Christchurch to be nearer to his daughter and her family.

Cliff was of course so much more than a photographer to me and my family … he was a great friend who was always there when needed.

I thought it appropriate to let the Taieri Spoodles community know of his passing… RIP dear friend Cliff xx

More about DUKE

Duke is adventurous and very much people-oriented. He just loves to keep you company. He is always first to the gate to greet you and be let out. He has grown to be our biggest puppy in the litter. His wee chin tuft makes him so cute and photogenic.
How can you resist this gorgeous fella!

NEWSFLASH! NEWSFLASH! NEWSFLASH!
SPOODLE PUPPIES ON THE WAY!

It's certainly been a while since we have had puppy news... After a well deserved break and rest for the four-legged and two-legged members of our family, we are pleased to announce that we have puppies on the way!

Master MARVEL and Miss SCOUT have recently been on honeymoon. All being well, we should be welcoming the pitter patter of tiny feet towards the end of August. Puppies should therefore be ready for their new homes mid to late OCTOBER.

This will be an incredibly special litter for us as the puppies will be FIFTH GENERATION TAIERI SPOODLES. We therefore know the blood lines very well. To produce puppies over this many generations has required a huge amount of time, effort and selection into the breeding process over the years. Included in these puppies’ lineage are Taieri Dudley, Taieri OTIS, Taieri JET (stud dogs) as well as Taieri EASY, Taieri MAGGIE, Taieri TIG and Taieri WINNIE (bi***es).

Miss SCOUT is a multi-generation apricot Taieri Spoodle. MARVEL is our new up and and coming stud dog. He is a black Miniature Poodle. This will be the first litter for Scout and Marvel.

We only now breed once or twice a year and as we are constantly inundated with enquiries from families wanting to adopt one of our puppies, we simply cannot keep up with demand. We therefore no longer take a general waitlist but instead only take a specific litter waitlist when we have puppies due. This means that we definitely tell prospective owners when they can expect to welcome a new puppy into their home and family.

THE WAITLIST for this litter is now OPEN. All being well, puppies are due late August and so will be ready to leave for their new homes mid to late October If you would like to enquire further, please PM me in the first instance.

Our very own special boy Master TAIERI OTIS who is living his best life in retirement with his son Taieri BUZZ and his human Atkinson family.

TAIERI HOOT & TAIERI DUDLEY welcomed a litter of Miniature Australian Labradoodles on 16th August 2022. Mum and 8 puppies are all doing very well.

We are on PUPPY COUNTDOWN again.
Taieri DUDLEY and Taieri HOOT are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their litter of Miniature Australian Labradoodles… due within the week!!

We expect these puppies to be very similar to Spoodles but with the additional bonus of some Labrador in the genetic mix making for an intelligent, people-orientated, low shedding family dog.

We currently have a couple of vacant spots on the waitlist so please do get in touch if you’re keen to welcome a new four -legged member to your family in mid-October.
