***PET GROOMING POSITION***

I am looking for a new groomer to join me and my bather.
Hours can be flexible depending on experience.
Experience in all aspects of grooming is preferred although I would consider someone with any experience if I felt they would be right for the position.
A gentle approach to grooming and a calm disposition with the animals is a must.
You need to be reliable and confident to deal with customers and take bookings.
I try to keep things as stress free as possible for groomers and furry customers.

❌ PLEASE LEAVE THEM IN THE SHOPS ❌

The vast majority of these rawhide products and treats come from China.

Their journey starts with the hides being soaked in a toxic sodium sulphide to remove the hair and fat. More chemicals are used in order to split the hide into layers which is then washed with hydrogen peroxide to give the white "pure" look and remove the rancid smell.
Now comes the pretty festive colours and the glue to form cute shapes.

They regularly cause intestinal blockages and choking. The chews go slippery when wet and are near impossible to get hold of to save a choking dog.

Please be safe with your dogs!

It is a part time position offering 15-30 hours (depending on how many hours you want) with the possibility of full time hours in the future if desired.
Hours can be flexible but some Saturdays are required.
Experience in all aspects of grooming is preferred although I would consider someone with any experience if I felt they would be right for the position.

I have always had a love of animals and after doing the vet nursing course 23 years ago I decided to get into grooming and have been doing it for 20 years! Wow that seems like a long time when I put it in writing. I have always enjoyed making the animals look and feel their best. After deciding to have children I decided to move my business to home 8 years ago and I love working from home. Our aim is to make grooming as stress free as possible and your pets comfort is our top priority. Price range $45-60 small eg. Bichon/Maltese $50-65 med eg.Spoodle/Cocker $60-80 lge eg. Springer/Std poodle $25-45 long hair moggy $45-65 persian

Payment options Cash, Cheque and Internet Banking Full groom includes bath, blow dry, nails, clipping, ear plucking and a**l glands if required and tolerated. Dematting costs extra and a badly matted pet will need to be cut short. Brushing out a lot or large matts is painful, stressful for the animal, time consuming and does not give a good finish to the cut as it will be thin and patchy.
