Congratulations to our awesome Head nurse in Vets4Petz Whakatane for completing her Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care, which comprised of a 2 year course, with 18 assignments and two written 3hr exams. She has put in loads of effort into this whilst working full time. We'll done Rebecca Dixon RVN CertVNECC!

This week we celebrate vet tech week

Jess is our amazing vet tech who works along side our field vets and also heads out to calls on her own
She doesn’t just help in the field she also helps us wherever needed from reception to nursing

Stacey is one of our excellent part time nurses in Whakatane. She has been nursing for over 10 years. Recently she has taken maternity leave with her gorgeous 3rd child, Eva. Stacey is a confident, competent nurse, who gets on well with everyone, works hard and does a great job.

She loves taking care of working dogs when they’ve been hospitalised, they usually love all the extra attention. She also enjoys it when she gets to send home an animal that has come in really sick and leaves well again.

Outside of work, her 3 girls keep her busy, and they spend their free time riding horses and going hunting.

We appreciate you Stacey for your positivity, for fitting in so well and adapting to whatever comes your way.

Rebecca is our amazing head nurse in our Whakatane Vets4Petz branch. She worked with us a number of years ago, before returning to the UK. She has now been back for almost 2 years, settling in Whakatane. She is calm, confident and highly experienced in all areas of vet nursing, including working in a large emergency and critical care hospital and for a veterinary ophthalmologist (eye specialist) in the UK. Rebecca has continued to pursue further study in veterinary nursing, including in emergency and critical care and cytology (looking at different cells under the microscope).

She enjoys swimming, and spending time with friends and her partner Sam.

Rebecca has helped raise our vet nursing standards even higher, bringing new knowledge and ideas from the UK.

We are lucky to have her in our team!
