Neigh, neigh, neigh Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to our community during 2025. You might have ridden, coached, lead a horse, side walked, fertilised, trimmed the horses hooves, become a community partner, picked up poo, baked, cleaned, mown grass, bought a raffle ticket, liked or shared a post, attended an event, written a newspaper article, donated goods or dollars, painted the mural or fixed a fence the list is endless. We literally wouldn't be here without you. Thank you, we look forward to seeing you all again in 2026 🎄🎁🎅

We are so grateful to the late Felicity Ann Paintin and her family. Felicity has bequested MRDA some funds. For those who were around in the very early days of MRDA or the local SPCA you will know what a generous lady she was. Thank you Felicity x

A big thank you to everyone that came to our Christmas party today. It was wonderful to celebrate all the amazing progress everyone has made this year.

HOLIDAY RIDING

Merlot is calling all those interested.

Is your rider going to miss the ponies and riding over the summer break? Do you need something for them to do so you get an hour to sit down? We can help!

We are offering casual lessons during the holidays for individuals or groups of up to three, depending on their level of independence.

Coach Sarah will be taking lessons that can be tailored to your needs or preferences - from unmounted lessons where you can learn how to handle horses, groom, lead, etc, to riding lessons or fun games, or a mixture of everything.

Lessons are an hour an for $60 or 30 mins for $45. These are not limited to RDA riders; siblings and friends are also welcome!

Our volunteers have been busy baking, sorting, cleaning and gathering for tomorrow’s car boot sale and we are hoping for a successful and fun day.

Parking map down below ⬇️

Blue 💙 - Car boot sale area. If you are bringing a boot, you are welcome to arrive from 9.30am onwards. Please park bonnets to the fence to allow for the space to be used effectively. BBQ, bake sale, raffles and information stand will also be in this area.

Red ❤️ - $5 Pony rides. Mounting block and helmets will be provided.

Yellow 💛 - Parking for shoppers. Please fill up the front carpark first, if there are no spaces continue down the drive and park in the paddock on the left.

We have tack and horse gear starting from as little as 50 cents (and we have a lot of it!) so come along, enjoy some shopping and help your local RDA continue to help those in the community.

We are so pleased to be holding a car boot sale on Saturday 22nd of November to fundraise for the continued care of our fabulous equine therapy team. 🦄

Spring clean out those tack sheds and bring all of your pre-loved tack and horsey supplies to our car boot sale - just $20 per boot! 🛍️

We are so grateful to be able to hold this event at Kyrewood Equestrian from 10.30am - 1pm at 108 Oroua Road, Feilding. With plenty of parking, shopping, pony rides, baked goods and raffles, it’s sure to be a fun day out - we’d love for you to join us! ☀️
