Come on Axle...
Play with Meeeee!!!
Miss Belle has been with us for two weeks, and we couldn't imagine life without her. It's like she has always been here.
She is ten weeks old today.
She loves her crate, and I have not had to take her out in the night to toilet since she arrived.
This is pretty much repeated every morning... Mum, do we have to get up yet?
It's never the parents (or, in this case, the new owners) who give the baby the noisy toy...
🤣🤣🤣
Belle, you are such a little monkey! And Storm, you are sooooo tolerant.
A match made in heaven 😊
I don't think I've ever seen these 2 play together like this before, Mother and daughter, Kya and Storm.... they have a beautiful relationship, and love each other so much. Storm will soon be 2 and Kya still likes to perform some of her 'motherly duties' with her.... say no more😉😉😉
We’re all feeling the summer heat, and unfortunately, our dogs aren’t interested in playing with the hose to cool off. But they do like playing fetch, so… 😉😆
Storm and Aria this morning. If I had a fifth of their energy, I’d be happy! 🤣
Storm has a new buddy and his helping him socialize. Gus is a 7.5 week old Jack Russell and he lives next door; we even have a gate from our backyard into his.
Last night Storm met her big brother Link. Link has come up all the way from Nelson with his mum Kathy to pick up his new baby sister Charlie.
I think it's fair to say that Storm and Link were very happy to meet each other 😊
Charlie does like to push her luck, but Kya is so tolerant... To a point!
Bonnie and Kya’s antics this afternoon 😁
Charlie and Bonnie playing a game of bitey-face 😆
New milestone achieved! Today the puppies had their first meal of solids, made up of Farex baby food and Royal Canin puppy mousse. We think they approved… 😋
Almost midnight snack for the girls❤❤❤
This weekend, we spent a bunch of time at the park here in Feilding, watching the dog agility show. May, from Kya and Axle’s 2021 litter, was here competing, and did an awesome job. She came fourth overall—well done May and Judy! It was great fun to watch and we’re very proud 🥰. We also took Storm to meet her older sister this afternoon.
Beautiful Miss Bonnie (pink collar) in a milk coma🥰❤
Well, here we go… Signs are pointing to puppies being born tonight or tomorrow! A bit earlier than expected, but that’s okay. Kya’s temperature dropped this morning (which indicates that whelping will start in the next twenty-four hours), and she has decided to dig a nest behind the outdoor unit of our heat pump, as you can see. Silly girl 😆
Watch this space…
Puppies will now have direct access to their outside play area from their inside zone which they transition to from 4 weeks of age.
The benefits of having a brother who is a builder 🙂
Kya has some funny quirks when she’s pregnant 🙂
