We've had a busy year - going to the dogs! (Dude's had a busy year, he's made up to Champion, as did his mother Kari & his sister Money - we're now waiting for Kari to have her litter in just over a week)

We have finally finished our first ever Nationals! Big thanks to all the organisers who did all the work to run it, I really appreciate the effort it took!

So we had 4 shows for the week:

Show 1 - Manawatu Toy Dog Club
Judge: Ms Vivienne McLaughlin (Cavalier specialist) - Aust
Money - Best Bitch, Best of Breed, Junior of Breed, Best Junior in Show
Kari - Reserve Bitch, Reserve Best of Breed, Best Open of Breed
Dude - Best Dog

Show 2 - Wanganui Toy Dog Centre
Judge: Viva Zhen Luo - China
Money - Best Bitch, Reserve Best of Breed , NZ Bred of Breed
Dude - Reserve Dog, Junior of Breed, Best Junior in Show

Show 3 - Prelude National
Judge: Peggy Gutierrez-Otero (Mexico)
Kari - Best Bitch, Reserve Best of Breed, Open of Breed
Dude - Best Dog, Best of Breed, Best Junior of Group

Show 4 - National
Judge: Rita Sayara (Mexico)
Kari - first in the Open Bitch class
Dude - Junior of Breed

I only showed Money in the first two shows, where she picked up 2 more challenges, 2 more to go!
Kari only shown in shows 1,3,4 - Dude did all 4

So the National show (4) is the one we did least in, but I'd like to thank friends who helped me get back into the Junior of Group judging - they had dismissed us, as one of the top winners had supposedly been from the Junior class, so we'd wandered off to do some shopping, only to be hunted down & told 'to get to the ring now!!'. I don't run very much these days & really appreciated the help as I grabbed Dude, got handed bait & had a bait bag attached to me as we ran off - we didn't get a look in, but you have to be in the ring to win!

I have made 6 bags of Layer Multi....

so I can start taking orders for Layer Multi ($38 for 25kg) and Layer Multi wormer ($42.50 for 25kg)
and I can bring it to the shop on Sunday - open 10am to 1pm

BUT PLEASE do not order a bulk lot - the process hasn't been sorted out yet and I am having to manually lift every kg of grain above my head to pour it into the mixer & it is.... back/arm/shoulder breaking
