Bailey jumping beautifully piloted by Isobel Bevitt during larsens sawmilling. She had her first show hunter debut and did not disappoint! She was extremely consistent, her scoring averages being in the 70s throughout the weekend even scoring a 78! Very excited to keep watching her excel and gain strength.

Chewy jumping well in her 2 classes today. Second ever time in the sh ring and she was so much more confident. She came a little green in the first round but really came into her own in the second round to do her first clear 80cm! A little more prep and I think she's going to be stunning at te teko💗

Leo's now home, I'm very grateful to his lease home for all the work they've done with him.
He's been a bit cheeky hence his return but safe to say he's had his best foot forward since being back. His first show back and my first time jumping him over show jumps since he returned home. His 80cm today, note to self he's a 14.1 pony not a 16.1 chewy 🙈

Pretty lucky to welcome miss Minx back into our lives, as a resident kids pony. We've got her on lease with big thanks to her current owners. She's been here for the past 6 months and has become quite the staple around the home.

Super proud of how Bailey coped with the mornings stress, and missing her original classes. She jumped a beautiful clear in her 70cm being the only clear round! And then the lightest pole in the 80 where she was just getting a bit tired, but I can't blame her with a trip that was meant to be 1and a half hours turned into 4 hours 🤦‍♀️

An eventful start to the day with the float breaks malfunctioning, but a great finish! So proud of Chewy for her first jumping show going clear in the 70cm showhunter and winning it! Then a baby rail in the 80cm but still incredibly proud. I'm having a bit too much fun on this horse 🙈

Finally got miss B down from turnout yesterday. Might have only taken us 2 hours😅
I was very kindly given her almost 2 years ago as well handled but unbroken. She was broken in by High Country Performance Horses as I was just too busy at the time. She's a real sweetheart with a lot of jump🙈 often changing paddocks on her own terms. But so excited to bring her into work for hunting this year!

Hope everyone is having a good start to the new year!
Thought I better do an update post with the horses that will be available in the coming months 🥰
I'm doing a big reset with my horses, as I really want to pursue to breaking in and producing side more than the straight producing, so all of my horses will be available when the time comes. But the first ones up will be Bailey and Chewy. Basic info as follows

Bailey aka Phamias Irish Cream
5 (rising 6) Ngati Mare from Te Araroa
Bay full height pony. Current height cert
Top level potential, but equally quiet and easy.
Flowing paces and a fabulous brain.
Available now but will be advertised late Jan

Chewy aka Phamias Double Take
8 (rising 9) Stationbred Mare, Kingsway Diamond, Pintado Deserado lines
Buckskin and White 16.1 Mare
Beautiful show hunter/ show jumping potential.
Proving to be a sweetheart, will be available March onwards.

Bailey having a play at Ohaupo Equestrian Centre yesterday. What an incredible facility! With being a very much not brave xc rider, Bailey really did her part and filled me with so much confidence for a baby pony. Her 2nd ever time xc and she nailed some scary lines!

The video of Bailey popping over 1.10. Considering it was her first time jumping a showjump over 80cm she made it feel incredibly easy.

Queenie out for a hack today. Shes wasnt the biggest fan of the waves, but to be fair neither am I 😂 but loved the stream and the beach dunes. She's really coming into her own now, and being a pleasure to ride.

Bailey being a perfect pony for my very novice cousin to have a road hack on. Even had a look in our local book library, and in true Bailey fashion was perfect. The love I have for this pony 😍

How cute is this! Jeff popping round 70cm with a novice 13yrold on him. (This is her first outing and her second ever 70cm course!) He was foot perfect, and very forgiving🥰 I was meant to do the working hunter on him but ran out of time with jumping between horses and their rounds😅Next time!
