Chewy throwing some lovely shapes in her second ever 1.10 at our local practice day.
Shes making the height feel super easy, and giving it plenty of room😅 Can't wait for our first show of the season coming up in 2 weeks time.
Thank you so much to organizers for putting on these local practice days, they are invaluable for these young horses!

Baxter came out for his first ever jumping day today and was such a dude!
Super proud with how well he jumped in his 3 rounds, 60, 70 and 70. The height was super easy for him, and he will definitely be stepping up next practice day!

Chewy jumping superb in her 3 rounds today. So proud of how well she jumped especially for her first ever 1.10 round! Super proud of how she came out, she was so confident over the aquaduct and all fill. Its going to be an exciting season!

Baxter looking very flash having his first go at level 1 tests on Saturday at the practice day.
He tried super hard, and was such a lovely ride, you can feel he was started correctly as a youngster.
Definitely feeling out of practice after being away, especially when I memorized the 2019 test instead of the 2023 one🤣🤦‍♀️ That makes a first.
Next outing will be the jumping practice day on the weekend 🙌

Had the most incredible week at NISS. Chewy was foot perfect and such an angel even when her jockey was super nervous. Never touched 1 rail, safe to say the 70/80 height is a piece of cake for her😂
Day 1 was dressage which her jockey has done 1 walk trot test and never a walk trot canter before, but she tried very hard to listen.

Days 2 the dressage improved as her jockey got more confident and they produced some lovely work together.

Day 3 was their first show jumping start, and her jockeys 3rd ever time jumping her, but she carried her through for a lovely double clear for 19/70+ riders

Day 4 her jockey became competitive😂 The show hunter they did a beautiful rounds for 4th, and the show jumping accumulator they did a speedy double clear for 5th of out 70+ riders!

Couldn't be more proud of miss Chewy, she was just an angel for Maggie, held her hand and kept her safe the the whole time🥰

Major thanks aswell to Tessa Campbell for being the group manager for making this all happen for the girls, and the rest of the team for their very good riding and cheering on!

Baxter having his second jump yesterday with Ruby aboard.
He was a bit unfocused and confused but safe to say he got the hang of it within a few jumps and that was to be expected with the circus only a paddock away!
Hes shaping up really nice in only a short amount of time, someone's going to get a ripper!
