Hi everyone!
I did make it to Groomwars and had a fantastic time!!
Was so insperational to meet and see other groomers at work.
I was also lucky enough to meet and have training sessions with Nathan & Kathleena Austin, Blake Hernandez, and Jade Lewbird. They are all amazing people, groomers and teachers, I loved every minute and learnt so much!
It was also great to talk with vendors and get hands on with so many products - I had to buy a new suitcase for the trip home😉
Thanks to everyone who organized, took part and made the experience so worthwhile! Can't wait to do it all again next year!!

I would like to thank all my clients for your support and understanding as I juggle appointments around surgery recovery. I hope to be back on my feet and in full swing by mid November-just in time for that xmas rush!

Hi All, I am so so excited! Wanted to share it with you all!!
I have got my tickets to atend GROOMWARS 2024!
Heading up to Orewa -Auckland for 3 days of grooming competitions/expo/learning and training and I cant wait!
Please note I'm not competing, but am looking forward to seeing my first grooming comp. I am most excited to be attending seminars with Blake Hernandez, Nathan and Kathleena Austin-some top groomers from the U.S. as well as a full days training with Jade Lewbird on Canine Behavior! Should be a fantastic time and I hope to be able to bring back some new skills and information to further help my clients!

Today's grooming session was incredibly satisfying, with a thorough de-shedding that left my walls looking like they were growing hair! I'm amazed at just how much coat a lab can shed. 😉

A big congratulations to Puffin and Panda! Competing in the weekend they bought home 2 best of group, 2 reserve of group, and 3 intermediate of group between them. A fantastic effort team!!
