Congrats to Peita Milne and Jenny McIntyre 🤩

At the recently held Archibalds NZ National Jumping Championship at McLean's Island, the NZWA sponsored a $100 prize for the top placed NZWB passported horse in the Zealandia Horticulture National 5 Year Old Series 1.15m class.

This award was won by Karisma HSH (Indoctro / Diarado / Cassini I) bred by Amanda Roy, Hokonui Sport Horses.

This gorgeous mare is owned by Nelson breeder Jenny McIntyre and was ridden by Peita Milne.

Congratulations Peita Milne! Well ridden and being produced so well. Karisma is a mare we bred, out of a mare we bred, out of a mare we imported (through Jenny McIntyre - Peita’s mum!) who is currently being ridden by my 13 year old daughter. It’s lovely seeing the granddaughter and grandam out at shows together 🤩as well as talented they have very kind and easy natures. Not everyone wants super talented but difficult horses. We love kind and talented 🦄

A better video with some updated moves from Neon. So happy and grateful to be able to say that we have sold a half share in him, allowing him to be retained by the stud. We are grateful that we have the opportunity to see what he can produce as a sire and then compete him, really looking forward to seeing what the future holds for him!

It’s always the best ones 😭 the only filly we have by Rocky out of our super exciting Diamante de Semilly mare (out of Rumours NZPH) got kicked today and with major trauma the vets were a very firm no to ‘can we do anything to help her, I’ll do anything.’ .

It is with much sadness that we said goodbye to our wonderful stallion Glenara Rockafeller yesterday. After a paddock accident we couldn’t save him. Apart from being outstandingly well bred, a nicer horse you wouldn’t find. His foals were fabulous and so correct. He got the older proven mares in foal that we couldn’t via AI.
He was our best friend and the life of the stud. Even in his pain and distress yesterday he never once put his ears back or was difficult in anyway. He was always so incredibly gentle with my children. He felt amazing under saddle and we were so excited for the future. We are beyond heartbroken. He will always hold a special place in our hearts, Amanda Grace and Summer.
