Everyone's time is valued equally, so one hour of dog walking = one hour of painting = one hour of computer tutoring etc. Anyone can join Hamilton TimeBank, individuals, families, social service agenc

ies, clubs, community groups, even commercial organisations. TimeBanking is based on the premise that everyone within a community can be a builder and a contributor. Signing up is as easy as 1, 2,3:
1 - sign up online http://hamilton.timebanks.org/user/register
2 - attend an orientation (usually by appointment )
3 - fill out a membership form including 2 forms of ID and 2 referee details

Timebank is about community and connection so it was great to catch up at the Cafe + Crafts this morning. Lots of conversation, sharing ideas and just general all round friendliness. We will be meeting monthly and so no one feels pressured about needing to bring a craft we will return to our old name of "Time Out with TimeBankers" See you next month this time at Agora Cafe.

What a wonderful group of people at the Time Out with TimeBankers this morning! When TimeBankers get together they start scheming and we all decided Coffee together was great but coffee and craft could be even better. So keep watching this space as Crafty Coffees may be happening in a cafe near you soon!

Repair Co Op, 10-12, second Saturday of the month at the Western Community Centre

Craft Swap is on the second of each month at 10am, at the Western Community Centre. Come along and share some craft supplies you no longer need, pick up some new supplies, share ideas, tips, etc. If you are new, please do come along and get some new crafty supplies and ideas. The next craft swap will be on Saturday 14 September, 10 am at the Western Community Centre, directly after the Crop Swap.
