🐈‍⬛🐾 Kittens 🐾 🐈‍⬛

We have got SIX little cuties in store 😍😽

We have a mix of both female and males who are ready to find their forever homes. Aged around 9 weeks old. They are very playful and sweet, and they give amazing cuddles 😻

They all have been desexed, microchipped, and registered on NZCAR. They are up to date with vaccinations and flea and worm treatments. You will get 20% off the remaining kitten vaccines and 20% off anything in store on the day of adoption. They will go home with 500g of Royal Canin kitten food and other goodies. 🐾

⭐️⭐️ HAPPY VET NURSE APPRECIATION WEEK ⭐️⭐️

This has been a week dedicated to us celebrating the amazing work veterinary nurses do across Aotearoa!

Veterinary nurses play a vital role in a veterinary clinic. They are anaesthetists, surgical assistants, radiologists, dental hygienists, surgical preparers, phlebotomists, lab technicians, pain relievers, pharmacists, midwives, cuddlers, treat-feeders and coroners. They possess many clinical skills such as placing and maintain IV catheters, collecting blood samples, preparing cytology, triaging patients, grooming cats, running weight clinics, administering medications and many more! But most importantly, they are your pet’s advocate, a loving hand, and their comforter when in the clinic.

Below is our incredible and passionate team of nurses at CareVets Rototuna. We have a range of experience levels, including Registered, Diploma and Assistant Veterinary Nurses.

Guy Fawkes is creeping up on us and it can be a very stressful time for our pets. Keeping our cats and dogs calm and comfortable during this time is key. Here are some helpful tips:
🏠 Keep inside at night
🙈 Provide a safe hiding place
🐕‍🦺 Walk your dogs earlier in the day
🐱 Keep them away from the the ‘bang’
🖥 Distract them with the radio/TV
🐱 Ensure they are microchipped in case they panic
🐰 Bring our smaller furry friends inside at night
