Quick look Back at Horry Lunn back in 1890 some four Years after Owning Training and Riding the L4 Haplotpye "Canard" to win the Grand National Steeplechase at Riccarton carrying 12 Stone 10 Pounds or about 85Kgs, here he is pictured with the Local Spirit Merchant E Roper, well known Bookmaker M Taylor and the "Father of New Zealand Studs" Sir Henry Redwood, though the paperwork was sometimes patchy.
H Lunn Probably best known other than for Canard for his connection with Clanranald who turned out to be from Bruce Lowe Family 1 And with Canard from Bruce Lowe Family 2 it looks to have been a numbers game through all time..
