Hanmer Springs Animal Park is set on 6 Hectares, amidst spectacular mountain views, 10 minutes walk from the resort town of Hanmer Springs. We have 2 Hectares of purpose-built farm park where you can relax and wander freely among our animals in a clean and peaceful setting. All year round fun, entertainment and activities — Hanmer Springs Animal Park is an amazing children’s play area suitable for

young and old. Tea, coffee, light lunch and snacks are available; come on down and bring your own picnic while the kids play. The park has wheelchair access and is a very enjoyable experience for animal lovers of all ages from toddlers to the elderly. Bookings are advised for groups larger than 10.

CLOSED TODAY FOR SNOW. It isn't a great experience to come today. The animals all take shelter and it gets really muddy when we move them around to their display pens. See you tomorrow! (This is an old video. We haven't had quite this much snow but Hanmer is white!)

It’s more of an inside day for everyone but we are open today! We have umbrellas and the rain is set to lessen. If you get rained off or it doesn’t work you’re welcome to return another day in the long weekend. The weather for tomorrow looks great! Happy Labour weekend. The rain is great for growing grass. 😀
