We’re so excited to welcome everyone back. Here’s what to expect if you’re staying with us:

Accommodation Overview:
✅ 10 Stables – Allocated and equipped with lights, water buckets, feed bins, and sawdust (with top-ups available).
✅ 5 Covered Yards – Allocated with water buckets, feed bins, and sawdust (with top-ups available).
✅ 8 Day Yards – Shared.
✅ 10 Equi-Wire Paddocks – Shared during the day, featuring a mix of long, minimal, and short grass to suit different diets.

Additional Facilities:
✨ 18m round pen – Perfect for lunging.
✨ Irrigated riding paddock near parking.
✨ Two cross-tie hose bays.
✨ 7 wheelbarrows with pitchforks & rakes
✨ Brooms in each barn
✨ Two large storage sheds for your feed, hay, and covers.
✨ Meadow & Clover hay for sale (price TBC).
✨ Access to the stable toilet.
✨ Washing machine, and dryer in the house for urgent loads.

All paddocks, stables, yards, and covered yards come with water buckets and functional gates.

We’re looking forward to hosting everyone and their four-legged friends again this year. 💕

With our awards night fast approaching it's time to register your vote for the following classes:

A little late, but here they are! The Carlton Lodge Weaning & Handling Class of 2024! 🐴😄🌸🎉

We’ve had some beautiful babies in this bunch who have learned so much during their time with us. As always, some were easy and some were a bit more challenging, but every single one of them went home as well-behaved babies—able to lead, tie up, cross tie, load onto the truck, wear rugs, get washed, and have their feet trimmed.

This year, out of the 30 horses we handled, 20 were weaned (they arrived still with their mares, marked in pink), two were pre-weaned but came for handling (marked in blue). We also had 8 yearlings came for handling (marked in purple), though one unfortunately isn’t pictured as it rained the entire two weeks she was with us. Of those 8, 6 were weaned by us the previous year.

A huge thank you to all the owners for trusting us with your lovely babies! Spaces are booking up fast for our 2025 season, and we’ll be working with a smaller draft this year, so if you're thinking of bringing your babies in, please reach out soon! 🐴😄🌸🎉
