Charity book update!
The Dudley storyline is coming along nicely and we really appreciate all your excitement for this project. We have spoken to the printers and now have some quotes for printing costs.
To maximise the amount of money this year that will go to the chosen charity (or charities), we have decided to ask our followers and clients for sponsorship.
Anyone who would like to donate $300 to help cover printing costs can choose to have their dog, themselves or their company name feature in the book! You’ll also receive a copy of the book.
Spaces are limited so please contact me if you’re interested.
We hope to have the book ready in the second half of the year, well in time for Christmas.
Last year we raised over $3000, this year with your help, we have high hopes of doubling that!

EDIT: The sponsorship offers are flooding in and limited. As it's a children's book it can't really be War and Peace kinda length!
So if you're wanting a slot then you will have to be super quick. Otherwise I'm going to have to do an entire series 🤔.

Milo, second ginger from the left, has been here 7 weeks and is heading home today. We’re his second home so he’s always happy to be here, he’s now super fit from all his walks and playtime but I’m sure he’ll appreciate a lie in tomorrow morning!

2025 CHARITY FUNDRAISING ANNOUNCEMENT!
After the success of our calendars last year (over $3000 raised for Pound Pooches) we are very excited to announce this year’s project.
Anyone who has been following our page since Christmas will understand where this idea has come from….
We are going to write a book, illustrated by Dan, based around Dudley and his adventures.
Many, many thanks to Dudley’s owners for agreeing to their boy becoming more famous than he already is!
Here’s one of Dans first sketches for the book…..
More info to come when we’ve seen the printers next week.
We really hope that you’ll all enjoy this new project!

With the busy summer holidays starting to wind down, I'll be back to the studio soon.
A few people expressed an interest in the pastel head portraits (first couple of photos), so now taking conformation of orders at $500.
If you're interested in the more detailed ones, message for a quote.
I'd better get cracking as a certain 'dogman' seems to be muscling in on the act, and he's only going to get better!! 🤣

It’s Dudley’s last day with us after 6 weeks…. He’s been the coolest little Dude, I know he’s kept many of you entertained with his toy obsession and his unique ways.
The resident soft toys do always seem to snow around him though so Carlos (who is NOT his caterpillar!) has requested that he has another day recuperating from his op without Dudley’s assistance 👀🐛😂
Poor Frogley is beyond even the surgery skills of Big Maizey’s Grandma!

A quick, non-dog video to start the day. Can you remember a while ago, we did a post about the Paradise Shelduck family that had adopted a lone tiny duckling? Well the family would ordinarily have moved on a couple of weeks ago, as they can all fly very well now. But because the little adoptee is still flightless, they have stayed. And they never leave him/her. One of the parents or siblings always stays with it. I reckon another week or two and they'll all depart together. It's been an absolute pleasure following their journey.
