It's barely first light on a Sunday morning. Its cold, damp and muddy.
My gumboots are still wet inside from walking in the torrential rain yesterday and one of my socks has already fallen down around my toes.
The Yin, to our usual Yang!

Trevor and Walter had a day at the groomers yesterday, can I keep them this clean and fluffy for the rest of their long holiday?! 🧐🤞👀

There's another half an acre of garden from what you see when you visit, so when it's grey and miserable it's perfect for group play times!

New boy, Moby, on his first walk. It's an all boy pack and the keen eyed will have noticed all those tails being held rather high.
It's common to misread this as a sign of potential aggression, but in this case it's simply a bit of excitement. The tail position of a dog behaving aggressively shows us if its confident or fear driven aggression but in it's self, is perfectly normal.
Moby has passed his first walk with flying colours!

Another stunning day 🖤🧡🤍💛🤎

Leo really doesn't need to go far, a nice potter around the garden suits him just fine. However he wanted to do the 100m to check out the neighbours today.

2026 PRICE RISE NEWS.
We have been trying to hold off increasing our prices for as long as possible but after keeping them the same for the last 2 years, they do need to go up as the cost of everything else has risen.
As of 1st January 2026, we will be increasing our boarding price to $50 per dog, per night. There will also be some increases to daycare and changes to town pick up and drop off charges.
We do not charge by dog size, weight or food requirements, or discount for multiple dogs or long stays.
This is because our prices reflect the amount of time we put into your dogs holiday with us, with our farm walks, lots of time out of kennels, individual needs and the extra care and attention those long stay dogs require to keep them happy, healthy and wanting to come back for more.
For anyone booked in for Christmas and New Year, there are some changes to deposits, you will receive an email explaining all this in the next week.
Thanks for your support and understanding! Some old photos for your entertainment!
