We can't let today go by without dedicating it to this magnificent boy.
It's possibly his last visit to us as he's moving away.
Hurley is a true 10/10. He's the perfect dog and become one our absolute favourites. He has a beautiful, kind nature, he's full of fun, obedient, calm and loving. We can fit him into any group knowing that he will be a good influence on the hot-heads, be patient with nervous guests and fatherly toward pups. It's like having a second Nelson with him here.
His owners are always an absolute delight to deal with, but what we will miss most of all is the joy and laughter he has brought us.
So just in case this is your last stay Hurls, a huge thank you for being you and we wish all of the Flynns every happiness and success for the future. Gonna miss you buddy.

Today's crews.
You'll notice that Nelson is in all of them. That's because he's our Canine leader. He isn't a leader because he wants to be, he's a natural leader because he exhibits the qualities required to lead.
Stability. He doesn't bark needlessly, he doesn't threaten to bite and he doesn't go around pi***ng on other people's business and claiming he owns it now.
The world doesn't need Nelsons right now, it has plenty of them. It needs the rest of the pack to understand what is worth following and what is not. Nowhere else in the animal kingdom do you find social creatures that follow chaos ( maybe chimps...our closest relative). So when we've finished demolishing civilised society, I vote for Nelson to lead what's left from the darkness.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone, turn off the Internet, forget the television and go out and walk your dogs!!!

We haven’t seen Ruby and Bosco the Airedoodles in a while, but they settled back in straight away. Archer and Jess the spaniels are back for a third week in a row and loving life, while the rest of the team welcomed them all back into the fold.

Naming a dog takes a lot of thought. You want something that your dog can immediately recognise as its own and that jumps out of your everyday vocabulary. Names like 'Bongo', ‘Moose' or 'Skip' are just examples that we've used. This group all have great names that work well. 'Sox', 'Maizey' and 'Pipi'....but maybe I shouldn't have put Millie, Chilli and Tilly together? 🤦

If like me, you wake up each morning and wonder just what is happening to the world, then this is for you. We haven't done a video for a while, so thought that this big Sunday pack walk might brighten your day a little!

Rhea, the lovely Rotty cross, can be a very shy girl. We never throw dogs into social groups that aren't ready, but this afternoon we decided she had come out of herself and gained her confidence with us enough to join this wonderfully relaxed group.

Getting in a swim before the storm

In this hot weather we have to walk Dave and his friends last as Dave gets too hot compared to the other dogs and isn’t the best swimmer! Something smells good here!

Pool party

Ola and Lenny had to walk up the hill to meet their brother Torben, wondering why they weren’t allowed in the taxi as well!

You can't beat the feeling of damp green grass and the sun finally beating down. It's too much for little Torben to get to the top of a hill. Have no fear, taxi to the top and wait for your siblings!

Sol spotted the pheasant dummy hanging up, so as a last morning treat we had a retrieving session. I can confirm that my arm gets tired before he gets bored.
