So I've got a lot of mice in my bird aviary which is obviously a huge nuisance. So my little dog Shelby is always ready to race in once the door is open and grab a mouse. She does a quick crunch and leaves it on the grass. Next a chook or Jeremy will come along to then dispose of the mouse. It was Jeremy's lucky day today 🐭🐦‍⬛

.....and last but definitely not least is a purebred wee Babydoll ram lamb. He's tiny and so cute 🥹 He had a wee twin sister but sadly she didn't make it. Anyway mums looking after him well and he's rugged up in his wool jacket. He will be available to purchase once weaned.

Two days ago Flo finally had her lambs, I was expecting 3 and 3 we got. Three boys 🤪 The 2nd had to be helped out as he was a bit stuck and then the 3rd lamb came out no trouble. She is a great mum, I topped up one yesterday with milk and will continue topping up if need be 😃🩵🩵🩵

Finally Curly-Sue had her lambs and after I think 6 ish years (the last two she had off) Madison finally got a girl lamb 🩷 Curly is such a loving mum and an amazing pet sheep. Soo much character 😆 Well done Curly. Twins a colourful girl and a big, mainly white gangly boy 🩵

This morning 🌅 I got to witness and video Abigails first ewe of the season give birth to her lamb. I was pretty happy I got the video for Abigail as she lives in town and misses these moments. I'm still not sure if it's a wee girl or boy. Might have a quick check later 🩵🩷

Little girl lamb is still getting all the cuddles ☺️ Over the weekend we had friends staying from Nelson, Jaimie and Van. Was such an amazing weekend and of course Van loved all the animals. Some photos of feeding the Highlands and Buffalo apple, and wee lamb having more snuggles 🐃🐑
