A few years ago we used to have this beautiful Fantail visit us. He would fly inside and circle the kitchen then sit on the back of a dining room chair and chat to us. Every time before he left to go he would check himself out in the mirror. Im sure he thought another fantail lived here. Isnt he just gorgeous

Just born. Please note we are closed until September but will keep you up with our new arrivals.

We were away for a few days recently visiting Farm parks. Zoos etc and thought you might enjoy some of the photos and videos I took along the way.. This amazing herd of Bison was spotted in Mangatangi. 8 in total and we were lucky enough to be there when they were feeding out. Not a sight you see every day.

Petite and her new calf born in the early hours this morning. Welcome to the world little man.

In Loving memory of Roxie possum one of our most loved pets at Stoney Oaks. She was one in a million and I miss her so much. She was 8 years old. RIP Roxie Girl

Caught One of the Turtles digging a nest for her eggs and later covering it up. Exciting stuff. It takes 60 to 90 days for baby turtles to hatch so fingers crossed.

I will be putting up 3 videos of a new born Fallow deer fawn. we actually had our two Pet Fallow deer Lesina and Bells give birth today within a half hour of each other much to visitors delight. These videos are of Lesina and her fawn so you can all feel like you were there. In the final video you will probably be glad you werent there.

Stoney Oaks will be Open TODAY Sunday Dec 17th. 11am to 4pm NO EFTPOS. Please Note. This will be your last chance to visit before Christmas. OPEN again on Boxing Day.

When a Kune Kune takes on a Wild pig. Moana and Poppit obviously not the friends I thought they were, It looked worse than it was--not a mark on either of them. Poppet won with Moana running off puffing and panting . Excuse the yelling but wasnt about to get between them.
