So, yesterday a guy came onto my property without permission, to mend a neighbour's fence. He brought his dog in his vehicle and we were very lucky that nothing untoward happened, as he managed to secure the dog before my pack got there. I wasn't impressed as it could have been a costly issue. I messaged my neighbour to ask that in future his contractors gain my permission prior to entering my property, and he replied that he would.
Well, not sure whether the two events are related, but today some guys from council dog control showed up. There has been a complaint about barking and roaming dogs. And apparently I need resource consent. So perhaps the lifespan of Take My Lead daycare is limited and I'll have to go work at the supermarket. 😞
I'll keep you informed.
PS - They took the tag numbers of present dogs (thanks for registering your dogs!) so hopefully you won't all get in trouble for supporting illegal services! :-p

Our Story

Providing a fun, safe environment for your dog with daily walks, runs, playing and swimming during summer. Small numbers of dogs (max 10-12 each day) means that everyone gets individual attention in a cruisey stress free environment. Boarding dogs sleep in the house with my family and our dogs with the aim being that your dog has as much of a fun holiday while you’re away as you do.
