We welcome back Summer Phillips for the 24-25 Season,
Summer loves sharing her knowledge to help inspire riders
and develop their confidence, ability and understanding of horse riding and husbandry.
She brings the Pony Club curriculum to life with real-world examples gleaned from years of experience as a professional rider and stable manager at the highest level.
These days she rides for the love of horses, so no matter the goals of each pupil, she can relate horsemanship skills and solid riding basics that are fun and encouraging for every rider.

We welcome Jayna Dinneen to our coaching group, she stepped in mid last season and we are wrapped she is joining us again this season. WELCOME JAYNA :-)
Jayna is a dressage and show rider, ridden to level 7/small tour dressage and won many showing national and HOY titles, including show rider of the year twice. She has previously evented to 4*, been on talent ID & development squads and represented NZ in the Young rider trans-Tasman team (many moons ago!). She works at a dressage and breeding barn and coaches locally. She really enjoys coaching at pony club and giving back to a system that started her in her equestrian journey.

Reminder to all members and key holders, our grounds will be closing for winter this coming weekend.
Thank you to every one for supporting our club with purchasing a key, we hope you made good use of the grounds.
We will be aiming to reopen them in October 2024. Keep an eye on our FB page for details.
Also we will be having our registration day for the next season Sunday 25th August. Details to come. 😀

Our grounds are currently still open, if you wish to use them then please book a time on our website. We will be removing the cross country jumps weekend of 1st June 2024 and closing the grounds for riding for the winter months, they will be reopening October 2024, follow our FB page for future information.

Thank you to everybody that came to our final Show Cross twilight night. It was a huge success and lots of smiles and laughter. Amazing to see all our local riders out there giving it a go and pushing themselves out of their comfort zones. Was wonderful to hear all the support from the sidelines. If people would like us to run more of these nights please let us know.
Grounds will be left set up for the next few weeks, so don’t forget our grounds are available for casual rides, just book through our website.

FINAL CHAMPS TWILIGHT SHOW CROSS this coming Thursday 29th Feb. New courses, 2 rings. Ring 1 Xbar and 45cm, Ring 2 65, 80 and 95cm. Rosettes to 5th. If you would like to enter before the night please email [email protected] with name and what heights you would like to do.
Can pay on the night, eftpos and cash.
You can ride the same height more than once but your 1st round will be the only one included in placings.
These are great nights for learning for all ages a abilities. See you Thursday.

Fun friendly club always keen for new members! Enjoy fun filled rallys nice, friendly and encouraging coaches. Followed by a lovely barbeque.

A quick reminder we have another have a go Show Cross or arena eventing session this coming Thursday. 2 rings xbar to 95cm. Start time 5.30pm.

Have-a-GO Twilight Show Cross coming in Feb. Thursday nights. Start time of 5.30. Blackboard order. Ring 1 a mixture of show jumps and logs for Xbar and 45cm. Ring 2 will comprise of 6 x show jumps and 6 x XC jumps for 65, 80 and 95cm. Bookings on the day - cash and Eftpos.
