Yes that would be wonderful but it does not exist....so please be tidy respectful dog owners and pick up your dog(s) poo when out walking your pooch.

I do not believe in or use prong collar, electronic devices that inflict shock or vibrate, or slip chain in training or in real life. In order for these to "work" it has to be used at least once inflicting a negative experience that the animal does not want to experience again. Is that what you really want for your companion animal...not me and not during my classes. I do not create a fearful atmosphere when working or being with my dogs. I want them to want to be with me and never afraid of being touched by me. We use a lead, collar and/or harness in class for safety we never actually use it except for walking on lead and even then it is once more an extension of our arm never a correction.

Why should you let me walk your dog...well I don't just walk your dog, your dog enjoys a sniffary...what is that? Well it is the opportunity for your dog to use their nose to smell away.
1. Did you know that the resting respiration rate per minute (rpm) for your dog is 15rpm ( depends on breed and size) , walking 30rpm, running 60rpm and SNIFFING 140-200rpm yep!
2. Did you know that your dog can inhale and exhale at the same time?
3. Did you know that sniffing can help your reactive dog?

Why should you hire me to walk/train your dog?
I asked one of my client "Reno" a JRT to answer
-I get walked 3x a week
-I am allowed to sniff to my heart's content
-I get treats when I ignore cars, turkey or birds
-my family is really busy working while I'm having fun
-I get my exercise and that makes me a happier dog to be around
-it is a win-win situation as Lise loves to walk rain or shine
So there you have it right from the dog's mouth....I have some available spaces to walk your dog 1,2 or 3 times a week.

We are soooo excited to officially share our handout on the Stages of Training. Thank you Doggie Drawings by Lili Chin for bringing this to life! This handout is used for clients to follow their dog's training progress!
It goes through all the stages of learning:
1. Acquisition (get the behavior)
2. Fluency (add the cue)
3. Generalization (proof the behavior)
4. Maintenance (maintain the behavior)

What a week.... first training with my new trainees went really well, met some amazing teams. Went to my Brother in law's funeral so had to postpone second sessions for my Thursday group. New intake open now great time of the year to train as not too hot not too cold.
