Zeus
15.3hh 13yo Stationbred Gelding.

There is not much of New Zealand that Zeus hasn’t seen. He has completed 8 sections of the Great NZ Trek and Trek For life. He has been trekked in steep high country, sand dunes, swamps,bush country, river crossings, ridden through town ships you name it this boy has done it.
Hearty, sure footed, good stamina, go anywhere type!
Has no buck, bolt or rear, but in a big high energy group he will jig jog and get abit hot-he does settle if you put him out in the front but is not a horse for a nervous nelly or anyone wanting a real plodder.

He has just started abit of jump and flatwork schooling with me. He has a super little jump, awesome canter and very adjustable easy ride down to a fence. He would look the part in the show hunter ring!
Has been cross country schooling and popped happily over everything I pointed him at , although he’s pretty new to arena life he’s testament that you can teach old boys new tricks and has found it all pretty easy compared to the big trekking missions he’s already done.

Gentleman on the ground, fantastic to truck/float, shoe, hard ties to trees or whatever is around at the time, tractors, bikes , cattle doesn’t bother him, good with other horses , easy to catch , low maintenance and easy to have around.

Has the potential to be an awesome allrounder, SH , SJ, Eventor, farm hack, stock horse, hunter, trekker.

Swag is an absolute gem-they don’t often come around as cool as this guy!
Has the most friendly , willing to please nature, loves people and is abit like having a giant Labrador around.

His current owner bred and has owned him his whole life. They have done lots of hacking, ground work, schooling and a couple of local dressage days. He is only for sale as she is planning some trips overseas, is short on time with young horses coming through and thinks he deserves to be someone’s number one.

Elegant and stylish on the flat with some lovely buttons established. The most beautiful, easy to sit, slow balanced canter. Can be alittle mouthy/choppy on the bit but soft and very responsive.
More woah than go in the arena but perks up out hacking and when you take him of the property.

This guy only started jumping properly last week but acts like he’s been doing it his whole life. I’ve taken him xc schooling where he jumped ditches, tyres, logs, banks etc all while keeping a cool head and lovely rhythm. Has been to a friends arena with alot of colourful jumps and fill, he didn’t think twice about going straight over, has super cute knees, keeps a lovely rhythm, doesn’t get hot or strong, very adjustable and just an easy, honest , get you out of trouble ride.

I think he would be a fabulous show hunter, lovely Eventor, dressage , show jumping, cowboy challenge, pleasure horse.

Thinks to note-though im not sure you could call them quirks are: he does get abit more goey and forward moving out hacking especially in a group with high energy, hot horses.
He has a very pink sensitive nose , easily managed with good sunblock.

Is a gentleman on the ground, done lots of groundwork and loves working at liberty with you.
Good to shoe, truck, float, catch etc.
Doesn’t have to be worked every day. You can leave him for a month and he will be the same horse as his last ride.

Liv has be produced slowly and carefully, she was professionally started by Ben Longwell and Murray from Kaipaki Horsemanship.
And has since been with me at Waitangi for the last 6 months.
Where she has been extensively hacked out around the farm building up strength and gaining good life experience , she is a lovely level headed mare and has handled the busy farm environment well.

We have not rushed this mare in anyway and she has rewarded us with the time, turning into an established, mature young horse that is ready to start her competition career, or be a truely rewarding pleasure horse.

Well established on the flat, snaffle mouth, very straightforward, relaxed and easy ride.

With lovely expressive movement and a good lineage on paper, she will be a top performer in the dressage ring.

Scopey careful jumper , with a soft back end , keeps a great rhythm, good with fill etc, no stop or run out.

Her owner is motivated to find her the best home where she can thrive and do well.

Is not suited to an in experienced home, as she is still a young warmblood and does well with a good routine, and confident capable rider.

We are riding through Manawhatu/Whanganui area till the 16th of march then will be travelling back to northland on the 18th-19th and can arrange possible viewings along the way*

Venus is not just a pretty face-she has a personality to match, lovely movement and very careful scopey jump.

Was started as a 6yr and has been produced quietly and correctly.

Awesome on the ground, good to tie, float, truck , happy paddocked alone or by with others , good to shoe, not marish , easy to catch, worm etc.

Venus has had plenty of outings to PC, SJ, SH, XC schooling and a local A and P show.

She has competed upto 80cm and schooled to 1m at home.
She loves her jumping , very careful and scopey - does not want to take a rail and I think has plenty of untapped potential to be very competitive as a show jumper.

Expressive movement -she has a lovely big trot when you ask for it, soft snaffle mouth, moves correctly and straight . Good clean legs and no soundness issues.

Can see this lovely mare doing very well as a competitive horse for SJ, SH, Dr, Showing but also is very happy hacking around the farm and going on adventures .

We are on the look out for a kind experienced home for her as she is a responsive, forward moving mare and not for a beginner or nervous rider.

Comes with her bridle and wardrobe of covers.
Currently shod and in regular work.

Manche is a gem to handle on the ground, good to worm, hot shoe-though he has been barefoot for the past 6 years and has awesome feet, easy to catch, good to tie up, tack up, float/truck etc. Cant fault this boy on the ground, he’s very easy to have around.

He has some lovely buttons on the flat, nice soft mouth, responsive, lovely balanced rhythmic paces and correct straight movement. Can see him been abit of a star in the show ring or as a dressage horse.

He has a super little jump, very careful and nice technique.
Must be noted he is not the bravest jumper and won’t suit a rider who is nervous jumping.

Awesome to hack out, goes along on a loose rein, doesn’t jig jog or reef at reins, good with tractors, cattle, dogs and farm life.

Due to no fault of his own Manche has had limited competition experience for his age, as a 5yr he competed upto 1.05m SJ and Cat C SH but since then he has only been to one dressage show-where he was reserve champion in the Introductory section.
He came xc schooling with me last week and was abit excited to start in the warm up throwing in a little buck and a few neighs to his mates but settled quickly and then jumped around everything I pointed him at. With some more outings under his belt I can see him been awesome.

Manche is a super spunky little dude and I think would thrive with a confident kid/teenager or smaller adult rider saying that I’m 174cm and he doesn’t feel small!

Sparrow (Waitangi Connection) spreading her wings at Barge Park last Saturday, for a 1st in the 1.05m and a 2nd in the 1.10 (her first start at this height) .

💗Meet Millie 💗

15.1hh, 6 years old, Percheron x Clydie x TB.
Total gem to have around, soft and willing on the flat and for a short and round creature has a very cute jump.

She is in full work, has been to northgate sj training-where she behaved perfectly.
Is going XC schooling this weekend at Kaikohe, and will be at barge sj on the 16th.
Before she heads down the line with me for a week long trek through king country.
