6yo SB Elvis came a long way while he was here! We worked through some behavioural issues and improved his flatwork through establishing balance, softness & rhythm.

I’ve been enjoying continuing to help him & his rider progress together by coaching them since he went home! ⭐️

Finally trying to get caught up on some updates! I was lucky enough to have 2yo Gypsy Cob ‘Leo’ here last month for a couple weeks of foundational groundwork & to begin the process of being started ✏️

This cutie is a quick learner & handled everything I threw at him so well! From patience tying, bathing & desensitisation to body control, introducing tack & being ponied, he progressed quickly & we managed to get through a significant amount during his time here. 📈

Looking forward to seeing how he goes with his owner as he continues to grow up! So grateful for the opportunity to work with this little fella 🥰

Wishing all of my amazing clients a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Hope you all had a great Christmas with your loved ones. Thank you all so much for your ongoing support over 2024.

You all kept this little side gig of mine busy with 18 horses through for training including schooling, starting and sale on behalf. I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to work with your horses - thank you for trusting me with them.

Thank you to my long time & new students for choosing me to help you on your riding journeys. It’s so rewarding seeing the progress you all made & I loved watching your hard work pay off by seeing results out at events! So proud of you all for what you’ve achieved this year.

I’ll be busy traveling around NZ over the next few months competing in rodeos with my team of horses so my books will be closed until I am back & have time to get back into it. Spaces are filling up for the first half of the year so make sure you book in if you’ve been thinking about it!

It has been incredibly busy here over the past month and I am well behind on posting! Elvis has been coming along nicely - here are some photos from his first couple weeks.

We’ve been working on body control, softness & rhythm along with working through a bit of nappy behaviour. His canter is coming along so well - proud of this big fella! He will head home before Christmas.

New arrival Korina ‘Kor’ is here to find a new post code! 14yo 13.2hh Welsh x mare

I’ve been lucky enough to teach the last two riders on this pony & know what an awesome little mare she is.

Kor boasts an extensive resume including everything from farm hacking & stock work to successfully competing at rodeos & jackpots barrel racing & pole bending. This little lady also loves jumping & could do well in the show ring.

She is a special, much-loved pony who has taught several young riders & deserves the very best of homes. I’ll be getting her listing up soon! 🥰
