Home from another busy weekend! Taihape dressage champs put it on as usual🧡
Ace was super well behaved gaining a new pb 59% in his musical along with better scores and more relaxation in his other tests.
I was also lucky enough to ride Tom (who might be the laziest horse I’ve ever ridden! Thanks Jenny🤣) in the novice on Saturday scoring 59% for both tests, gaining us 4th in the silver novice championship🤠💚

Ace and I were lucky to have 2 lessons with Bill. Got lots of new tricks to play with to get him happier in our work.
We also got our first clean flying change!! 🤩

First show of the season done… SHB provided the sun and the wind. Ace was very hot in his musical to get a 50%. We were able to hold it together a bit for in the afternoon for a 53% in 4c. After a very windy night Ace was surprisingly relaxed today in 4b still only a 54%, but it was win in our books as there were no melt downs in the arena.🩶
Looking forward to Taihape next weekend along with Bill lessons during the week 🤠

Sprocket was fab at his first show with me! 🩶4th in both classes with a 63.6% and a 60.7% in some very trying conditions riding in gale force winds 💨 it was a team effort but we got there😌

Nice day out at Pony club for both boys. Ace was super excited to have riding buddies and Ronnie was super well behaved. So lucky to have LPC use Pony tails facilities.

Ronnie / Chequer Board 7yr old 15.2hh chocolate gelding.

Ronnie is a sweet little hack. Good to handle, float, feet etc. Established walk trot canter, with his jump coming along.
Sane and sensible, not spooky or silly. Ronnie is forward but is completely safe with a snaffle mouth.

He can be ridden alone or in groups, he’s been out to arenas with no issues, takes everything in his stride.

Ronnie was loved at the track by everyone. Ronnie would be good first hack for a competent rider or a great first project.

Such a nice weekend to kick off spring 🌼
Ronnie was super ridden by me and McKenzie. Ace was a star in his lesson getting closer to good meduim movements🩶
And we adopted Tubs into the family
