Clive has been busy building some new jumps for the new season ahead. Mostly at the 65, 80 and some new 95cm jumps 🛠🪚
Dragon Equestrian located between Levin and Otaki is the perfect place in the lower North Island to do your season prep. We have a XC training facility built by Course Designer Clive Long with a range of fences from 50cm to 1.20m. All fences can be jumped individually or joined together in a course. Fences are labeled for height and flagged indicating direction to jump if necessary.

This facility has been developed by Clive Long, a ESNZ Eventing XC Course Designer with the aim of providing a training ground for riders and horses at all levels.
With a full size Dressage arena and sand Show Jumping arena set up all year round with courses to practice over. And not to forget the amazing XC course with fences from 50cm up to 1.20m.
Water, banks, skinnies, ditches, corners, lines and combinations! Anything you could need to learn, develop and grow you and your horse's experience & skill.
All available for bookings for individuals, groups, pony clubs, camps and clinics. We have yards, paddocks and accommodation (beds, showers, kitchen) also available for hire. The perfect weekend getaway!!!!

⏲️ Times will be out today for those already entered as well as drone footage and course map of the XC course 😁
⛳️5️⃣🔟 Derby Day Flagging and Numbering is under way 😁🪛
🛸We will have drone videos up of each course on Wednesday, the 11th. They will be up on my Instagram, Facebook, and website
🕔 Times/draws will be emailed out on Wed as well. If you have already entered payment to due Wed, however, we will be leaving entries open until Friday the 13th.
🚶♂️🚶♀️🚶 All XC courses will be open and available for walking from 5pm Thursday the 12th. You are welcome to come up anytime from then on to walk the XC courses.
SJ courses will be set and ready from Friday lunchtime.

Wow what a fantastic weekend running our impromptu Derby Day. Thanks to everyone for their patience and kindness and for making it such a great two days 💕
Amazing to see riders and horses gaining some confidence in both the SJ and XC rounds. Was a great chance for everyone to get out and have some practice.
We are definitely keen to run more of these in the future so keep an eye out‼️

We had a fantastic day today at our DIY Derby Day with the 65cm and 95cm classes. So great to see everyone having such fun and building confidence!!
