Eventing Canterbury two day event 🤩

All three boys did really well being the first event back for Ronny since may and the first one back for the 80cm boys after a break from pony club season!

Have a big few weeks coming up with Springston Trophy followed by the South Island 3DE!

Ted has lightly competed and ready to continue getting out and about in his new home. Only available due to a lack of time on the owners behalf and feeling like he is under utilised.

He’s previously done beginner/intermediate lessons well as show jump, cross country, dressage, forest rides, pony club and road rides. He’s competed 65cm at Springston ODE placing 6th as well as Roydvale ODE 80cm finishing 4th overall.

Teddy is incredibly eager to please, good with clipping and shoes. trucks well but can potentially be a hesitant floater - still gets on and off just needs more confidence. He gets along well with other horses and have never had any major injuries or paddocking issues.

Teddy is incredibly honest in his work ethic has a lovely nature and a super trainable personality. Will have a bright future with with the right rider.

Super happy with Ronny the weekend of the New Zealand National Three-Day Event Championships - Taupo 2023!

After a consistent dressage test (just managing to keep him calm enough) He absolutely nailed the cross country with a few errors in show jumping the following day.

Ronny giving me wings 🤩

As many bad moments there are it’s important to remember the good parts. Ronny rode really well and tried his very best for me as he does at every competition, looking forward to the Taupo trip starting in less then 2 weeks!!

Matua is a dude, he is a very honest horse with potential. He has some challenging quirks with his ground manners but manageable.

Taupo National 3DE -

Here are a few pictures of my trip to the north island competing in the National Taupo 3DE on my boy Ronny!

I would like to start off my thanking the lovely Clarke McKenzie Equestrian for supporting me on my journey competing in the National Taupo 3DE.

Introducing my main horse -
Ronny is a 8 year old station breed, I’ve had this lovely boy since he was unbroken as a 5 year old.
Ronny has a quiet nature which makes my job easier when furthering his education. Im very lucky to have this boy on my team!
