The A ++ student Leo! Iv had the pleasure of training this quality young 5yr horse over the last 6weeks . He’s by the famous Diamant de semilly . I see why they rave about the workman like natures that this stallion brings!

Amazing first day of competition South Island v’s Victoria the girls rode beautifully to win the first day! Such a privilege to coach this team again, it’s such a fabulous bunch of talented young women. Looking forward to tomorrow!

Cera Chanel in her 125m championship class at Xmas cracker. Finished 4th on double clear. What great competitors we are up against at this level. There’s always a fantastic jump off to watch.

It’s not just people it’s effecting ! I now control all our feeds and use no processed feeds for our horses.

Took the 7yr Cera Chanel into Chch Show yesterday . Had entered the 120/130m but after walking a really tough track which I thought was solid 130m I wondered if Id made a mistake! Chch is a special show and a bigger test with atmosphere and really tight arena, but they have to learn sometime! A mistake from me when she got bothered but over all thrilled with how she preformed!!

Credit to you Josh! Josh has been with us since start of the year training horses and helping us build our property. Josh was already a skilled horseman but realise to be the best you must keep educating and we are so lucky enough to have him.

Although my books are closed as present, I’m constantly learning every day.

Something we practice over and over again. Trotting fences makes a huge difference to the confidence of horses and riders!

Forget no-stirrup-November. For many riders (**raises hand**) there is literally nothing scarier than trot jumps.
