🐶💦 WE’RE HIRING! Casual Dog Washer Wanted! 💦🐶

Love dogs? Don’t mind getting wet? Dreaming of working with dogs and two amazing people all day? We’ve got the perfect gig for you!

We’re looking for a fun, reliable dog lover to join our team as a Casual Dog Washer.

🦴 starting immediately on as as needed basis. Come spring and summer mostly full-time hours. Saturday work is required!

🦴 Training provided – no experience? No problem!

🦴 Great stepping stone if you’re dreaming of opening your own grooming salon someday. Opportunity for the right person to learn more grooming skills if time permits!

🦴 Already have experience washing or grooming? Even better – we’d love to hear from you!

This role is all about bubbly baths, wagging tails, and lots (we mean LOTS) of fur.

Meet Clive! Our new temporary greeting dog!
We are fostering Clive from while he looks for his new home.
I have had Clive for a few days now and I can honestly say he is one of the most remarkable dogs I have met.
Clive is excellent with all dogs! He is especially tolerant with feisty Mozzarella who is still adjusting to another dog in her house.
He spent the day in the salon today and greeted every person and dog very politely then went back to having his snooze. The sights and sounds of the salon didn’t phase him at all.
He is very polite and gentle to walk, we went to the pub yesterday and he was probably exhausted from the walk. But insisted on greeting every person there.
Clive is your typical couch potato, and would love nothing more than a couch to sleep on for approx 22 hours of the day.
If you have ever considered getting a second dog or a greyhound, keep Clive in mind. He is absolutely perfect and deserves the best home!

A Quick Reminder to Help Things Run Smoothly!

Hi everyone! Just a few housekeeping notes to keep things stress-free for all of us:

🐾 Pick-Up Time:
Please collect your dog within 30 minutes of their groom being finished—especially during winter when we often finish earlier. If you need to drop off early or leave them longer, just let me know at least a day in advance.

🐾 Beach/River Visits:
Please avoid bringing dogs straight from the beach or river. Sand and mud make the grooming process longer, tougher on our equipment, and not great for our drains. Extra charges may apply.

🐾 Pricing:
Grooming is priced by time. Winter grooms may take longer due to longer coat length and coat condition, which can affect the final price.

I’ve recently realized that I’ve been undercharging on quite a few grooms, mainly due to underestimating some dog sizes and the time required. I’ll be adjusting prices as needed to better reflect each dog’s size, coat condition, and the time involved.

🐾 Clean & Dry Coats:
For services that don’t include a bath, make sure your dog arrives clean and dry. Dirty coats can damage our equipment and may result in a refusal of service.

I would like to thank everyone for their continued support over the year. It truly means so much to me to have such awesome clients and people in my life. Extra big thank you for all your generous gifts this year!

I am so proud of my team who continue to grow as amazing groomers and even better people! That they can put up with my singing and dancing every week is truly a feat!
