I'm so proud of this guy. I was quietly cheering him on today as he navigated some things that cause him a lot of anxiety - big dogs AND I brought out the dreaded nail clippers. (😨)
Not only did we wander along behind a big dog... but he even let me trim a couple of nails! 🥹 It might sound small, but like my Meeka (for those who know her history) some things sound small to us but are in fact HUGE to them. Respecting Irie's space & going at his pace gives him the chance to build confidence and resilience. 🥰
We're still getting to know each other, but earning his trust has been worth every second! Can't wait to see him join one of our groups in the near future! He & Pan are already great buddies, so Pan will help introduce him. 🐾🐾
