If the strength of Self Control was a muscle, this boy Austin is STRONG. He has such a solid foundation from working with our head trainer, Jan at A.C.E. Dog Training.
Austin's Playgroup Leader, Anna, put him through some paces, and the Powers of Patience when food is concerned is a pretty impressive test for a strapping young Labrador... and working on balance and coordination with the skateboard is also remarkable.

Arlene entered Amora into her first dog sport competition this weekend.
This was a Noseworks Trail where a scent of clover is hidden in four locations: on a vehicle, in an outdoor environment, an indoor environment and then in containers. Amora did great on the first day, finding 3 scents cleanly and giving a great indication "alert". However, a thunderstorm decided to roll over Wellington when she attempted the outdoor container search!
On Sunday (day 2) her nose was back in action and she achieved her first qualifying ribbon as she found all four "finds".
Noseworks is a fantastic sport, not just for dogs but also for their owners. It allows you to bond with your furry friend while having a blast. The best part is that dogs compete only with themselves, and there's no first, second, or third type competition. With Noseworks, dogs can put their smelling abilities to the test and have a great time while doing it!
