North Canterbury Kennel Assn has donated $200 to Teresa Treweek's fund raising to pay for her cancer treatment. Teresa has been a wonderful supporter of our club, as indeed she has been of other club. So, we are asking other clubs that they show their appreciation of Teresa's support over the years and make a contribution so that we continue to have her support!!!

Reporting schedule and running sheets will be sent out later tonight. Please note that those who did not pay for their entries (despite reminders on this page and a personal email) have been deleted.

Gazebo map will be sent out later in the week and the same will apply there. Those that have not paid will be deleted.

Sadly we need to advise of some changes that are required to our judges allocations, due to airline timing changes.

Trying to make changes to flights over the Easter period is not only incredibly expensive – but also impossible to accommodate.

We want to adivs you early of these changes so you are aware of how they may affect you.

The alterations only apply to Show 1 on Saturday 30 March the following changes will need to take place

Mel Attridge will now judge Hounds
Margaret Broughton will now judge Gundogs
Vicki Harris will now judge Non Sporting.

This also affects SINSUDA – and we appreciate that they are able to help us resolve this.

Mel Attridge has kindly agreed to judge the Non-Sporting Group for SINSUDA.

Please review your entries and make sure you understand any ramifications for you and your dogs.

We understand that this could be disappointing to some exhibitors, so please feel free to let us know ASAP if you wish to withdraw or change your entries.

We have now closed off entries for our Easter Extravaganza shows. We have an amazing entry and can’t thank you all enough for your support!

The entry is well over our budget and so as a payback for your support, we have decided to feed you all at the Benefit Show on Friday 29th March!

On both days (Friday and Saturday) Mike & Donna Wright and their family will be cooking up a treat on the Team Hutchinson Ford Barbeque and will have for sale, bacon & egg butties, beef pattie & egg sammies; sausages & bread – all with or without onions, mustard and tomato sauce. BUT on Friday the sausages and bread will be FREE!!!!!!!

They will also of course have drinks for sale and the No8 Coffee Cart will also be at the show both days!

Now that we are not all COVID-shy, we will also be having our very famous Pizza and Punch (Wine/Beer) resume before the BIS judging at the afternoon show on Saturday. So nobody is going to go hungry.

And just to make you all totally sick (and fat) don’t forget we will be having our very popular Chocolate Wheel raffles with on the spot prizes of Easter Eggs

I really hate to harp on but NCKA exhibitors could you please check your entries - if you have not received an acknowledgement from us (up to 9pm last night) then you need to go on line and check because believe it or not, we have quite a number of people who have paid us (presumably for entries) but from whom we do not have entries!!!! To enable you to do this, we have opened the entries again until Saturday midnight.
And of course we also have people who have entered but not paid......... Surprise! Again, you have until Saturday night and then we will become the first club to reject entries. I don't want to do that because our entry is fantastic and we want everyone to enjoy themselves.

Please, please exhibitors, if you have not emailed Karen ([email protected]) and booked a gazebo spot, please do so NOW. We seem to have quite a few $10 payments from people who have not booked a spot.

Hello everyone - just a reminder that entries close tomorrow. There are a lot of entries still not paid for. Please don't put us in a position where we have to remove them or put yourself in a position where we should charge a penalty for unpaid entries

I have one more thing to say - and it's an apology! In my posting thanking everyone for their help, I completely overlooked Tina Harding! I'm going to say that it is because she just got on with her job and caused no fuss! Tina was responsible for arranging the great sponsorship for the rosettes for the FCI show. She is a gem! Thank you Tina and I am so sorry that I left you off the 'hit list'
