Felchazo (meaning 'love at first sight'), paddock name Shiraz is a beautiful rose grey 9yo purebred andalusian mare est 15hh - by KFL Zanzibar (Alma Director) out of LP Amulleta (Jealeador).
Shiraz is an ideal horse for someone looking for their equine best friend and loyal companion. Shiraz has an exceptional nature, true to the andalusian breed. She's intelligent, willing and superb to handle. She loves attention, is sensitive and always present when being worked. Shiraz has been a 'mums horse' for the last few years, lightly dressage schooled, extensively farm hacked and lightly jumped over small jumps. She's had light work in the last two years due to the owners work commitments. Shiraz has previously had two foals and was a very good mother.
Shiraz does not have any vices, but does need to be grass managed particularly in times of spring growth due to her breeding and tendency to put on weight. She's easy to keep, doesn't require hard feed, has great feet and has not been shod. She’s fully vaccinated and is up to date with teeth maintenance.
Shiraz deserves an exceptional home where she is loved and can form a trusted relationship with her person. She would suit a small adult rider or a teenager looking for a gorgeous, high quality, well bred horse. Shiraz has lovely movement, so could do very well in dressage with further schooling. She has demonstrated great technique and willingness to jump, following in the footsteps of her GP pony showjumping sire. We have not measured Shiraz, so she could measure a pony, but cannot guarantee.
This is a very sad sale. Shiraz is her owners dream horse, but due to work commitments realistically needs to be sold to a home where she receives the attention she deserves.
