Panorama is excited to present this Stallion from the Rei Huia Stables. Re Huia Ranginamu is a 16.1hh bay Holstein cross Irish Hunter stallion by Littorio, a prolific sire of jumping and dressage horses
Out of Flash - an extremely high quality Holstein cross Irish mare by Corlando.
Flash was rated highly as a youngster by the Holstein Society, but then sustained an injury as a yearling, preventing a competitive career for herself. She was out of a Laughton's Legend mare, by a thoroughbred stallion, so brings brains, beauty and athleticism to the mix.
This young stallion has a spectacular temperament and gorgeous off-the-floor paces. He can be pulled in out of the field with a minimum of fuss and indeed loves the attention.
He has powerful cadenced paces, with an extraordinary forearm, allowing him to reach both on the flat and over fences. He snaps up quickly infront, and is very careful behind whilst free-jumping.
We believe that this lovely stallion will really impact on any mare brought to him. He seems to really stamp his offspring with power, athleticism and temperament, plus of course, his bay colour and flashy white markings! His first crops have brought power, movement and sensibility to thoroughbred types but also some spectacular European style cadence to the warmblood/crossbred types. The main apsect commented on are their temperaments though - we can't wait for them to be old enough to jump!
