The breeding season is just about done and dusted - We had two further positive pregnancies confirmed from outside mares this week, which is great for their happy owners! First cycle AI pregnancies showing that Brennan still has the goods! Leo has an outside mare here who thinks she is in foal but sadly is not, so we are prepping to have another crack with her once the hormone shot she has been given kicks her back into gear.
We will still collect and send semen until next month for mare owners, although overnight courier is preferred over air freight. We are so far from an airport and the closest airport, Palmerston North, is fairly challenging to deal with sadly, but we can do walk in/walk out live cover with both boys. So, it is not too late to breed your mare. Have you been trying with another stallion with no luck? Perhaps consider some super swimmers from either Brennan or Leo!
We also have two lovely foals that will be available upon weaning so if you fancy a spunky purebred Connemara filly or a striking and LOUDLY coloured half Connemara filly to hide away in a back paddock for a few seasons, hit me up! Both super types, move well, have great temperaments and will most definitely jump! To make full size/large pony, both of them. Happy to discuss payment arrangements and over wintering options. Need to get better photos and sort some video but feel free to arrange to come visit - I am very happy to show them to people :)
And remember, we also offer in utero contracts and have four superb mares carrying foals by Brennan and Leo. (Mares by Anamour, Littorio, Castle Baron and Triple Star Nebraska).
