Alcatraz Boarding Cattery Alcatraz is a small, personalised boarding cattery in Masterton We offer lots of human contact, even electric blankets when the weather cools.

Established in 2006, we are a small, personalised boarding cattery in Masterton perfectly set up for a number of cats from the same family or just the one cat... whatever suits your situation. Please note that we are open by appointment only. If you fail to notify me of a change to your pick up, or drop off time, there will be a $50.00 fee. This is because I arrange my day around your appointment

. Boarding rates start at $15.00 per day, and $10.00 for each additional cat, eg: two cats $25.00 per day, three cats $30.00 per day. No charge for the final day if collection is prior to midday. Minimum boarding rate is $30.00 for an overnight stay. Long term rates are possible. Please phone to discuss. Phone or Text 021336525

A shout out… local rescue organizations Finding Felines Forever Homes (Trace Mclaughlan) and Colony Cats (Lesley Gibson) are being inundated with rescue cats and kittens.

If you are wanting to support two very hardworking rescuers, then these two could really do with your help. They receive no financial help from anyone, and do this out of the goodness of their own hearts.

Donations are always appreciated, whether it be $$$’s, or cat food, etc.

Trace’s bank account is in the pic below, and I can give you Colony Cats bank account if you would like to donate money.

Alternatively you can drop of towels, blankets, food, litter, etc to me, and I will ensure they get it.

UPDATE: Max has found her forever home 😻 This is Max. She’s about three months old, and was dumped with her sister and mumma by a horrible hooman in rural Masterton. She’s recently been desexed, microchipped, and had her first vaccination, and worm/flea treatment. She’s a bit reserved with new people, but as you can see, she is a real little sweetheart once she is confident. She’s met the dog, and other cats, and is not afraid, just curious. There is an adoption fee, but that is to cover the vet expenses to date. PM me if you are interested. 😻
