Isabelle Whatley is an experienced rider having been trained under NZ Olympian Blyth Tait, Australian Olympian Vicki Roycroft and been based in Germany riding at one of Paul Schockemohle's yards as well as riding for Eventor Kate Tarrant in the U.K. Having ridden on one of Australia's State teams, competed internationally at 1m30 and Evented in the U.K., Isabelle is competent in the competition ri

Having relocated back to New Zealand and now based in the Wairarapa we are offering lessons, schooling, possible agistment, selling on behalf, clipping and float hire. Rios Might 15.3hh 10yo TB Gelding by Rios. Competed to 130cm with placings. Generous, straightforward, and brave. Well educated on the flat with changes and a lot of fun.

Kiwi Flute 16.3hh 8yo Mare by Kiwi Gunsmoke and out of Diamond Flute. Flute has a remarkable temperament and has 3 beautiful paces. She is extremely scopey and brave. But this is a tricky mare to ride who can get explosive when shes anxious at shows. Therefore she is ONLY available as a broodmare unless she is going to a professional. 💲6️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣

Nico Robin 16hh 7yo TB mare by Super Easy and out of Wildcat Woman

Robin has been the absolute gem of our team. We have owned her since she was a 3yo and has proven herself in every way.

Robin is a straightforward ride, competed to 120cm with wins and placings. She has been a very consistent and fun ride. She is fast in a jump off and is brave, genuine and careful.

Robin is well educated on the flat with flying changes. I ride her in a tomb thumb snaffle on the flat and when jumping. She has a soft mouth and has been very trainable.

She would most likely suit being an eventer but this hasn't been our focus. Over the last year her work has been inconsistent due to my health so she hasn't had many starts.

Robin does have a couple of quirks, where when she is in season, she can be sensitive so needs an empathetic rider. And she doesn't like to stand still at shows, so I have always just kept her walking.

She is good to take out on her own or in company. She is a very cute jumper that tries her hardest but struggles to make the distances above 125cm, so for this reason she is best suited to a competent amateur, junior or someone wanting to have a lot of fun below 125cm.

She has been out of work from November and will have shoes back on Wednesday 22nd January. She will begin work from there.

Robin is good to travel, worm, shoe etc.

I am happy to part with her out of work at a decreased rate or when she is in work this will be 💲1️⃣2️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣

Rios Might, 15.3hh 10yo TB Gelding by Rios, out of a King of Kings mare.

This horse has been the best little pocket rocket on our team. Freddie has competed to 130cm with placings. He is very generous and tries extremely hard.

Freddie is well schooled on the flat with flying changes and a straightforward ride. He can be forward but isn't strong and settles when asked.

We've owned Freddie since he was a 3yo and has been carefully produced up the levels. He is best suited to a competent amateur or Juniour or someone wanting to event. He is very brave and will do his best to jump out of a poor distance. We have cross country schooled him as a young horse where he took everything in his stride.

He has had a sacroiliac strain and will need ongoing injections when needed. But he has been sound ever since he's had this done.

Freddie has been out of work since November due to my health. He has been in work for the last two weeks and can be viewed at ours (Wairarapa) over the next week or so before heading to
In Palmerston North.

Freddie is good to shoe, truck, worm etc.

Due to the ongoing battle with my health, we have made the heartbreaking decision to put Kiwi Flute on the market.

Kiwi Flute is being made available to either a professional home or as a broodmare. Flute is a 16.3hh 8yo Mare by Kiwi Gunsmoke and out of Diamond Flute.

Flute is an extremely talented mare with all the scope and bravery you could hope for in a jumper with beautiful movement for a dressage horse. She has done level 1 dressage and lightly competed to 1m10.

Flute had the best temperament of any horse we have had, and I can not fault her on how sweet, kind, or how hard she tries. She does, however, have issues with anxiety when she is out at the show. We have worked through a lot of these issues, and I am happy to discuss this in more detail. For a ridden home, she needs a quiet, patient, and empathetic rider who can progress her further. Therefore, she is only available to a professional as ridden mare.

I had hoped that we would be out and competing this season, but due to my health, I can no longer ride. This is a horse that I believe has the capability to go to the top with the right person.

Flute has been turned out since November and will be sold from the paddock.

We haven't bred from Flute but with her movement, jump and temperament she would have some gorgeous foals.

I adore this horse and she will only go to the best of homes. Vettings welcome.

Southerly change? Wind and rain making the horses a damp and frisky? No worries... has you covered with their extensive range of horse rugs for all seasons.

Our team favourite is the no fill cows. The horses are warm and dry in them and they've proven hard to destroy. Experiment taken place with Rios Might who loves a good durability test. Safe to say they have lasted the test of time!

With 2024, drawing to a close and Christmas just around the corner. I want to take a minute to reflect on the year that has been.

2024 has had far more downs than ups, so it's important to celebrate all the successes had! From getting married to the love of my life and celebrating with friends from around the world. To having a new family member (the four-legged kind). Saying goodbye to our favourite Friday Woolfe as she headed off to her new home. Dealing with a long-winded recovery from a fall, finally getting back into the ring and the horses jumping incredible. Only to become very ill again. But the bright side is, it is not forever, and we'll be back in the saddle sometime in the future. It's been a wild ride and I couldn't have done it without the support of my wonderful husband, family and of course, the girls who've kept me going

To our clients, thank you for being so incredibly supportive and patient this year. I am so proud of how far everyone has come and can not wait to see how the rest of the season goes.

A huge thank you to for having Freddie and doing the most incredible job with him while I couldn't ride and to for coaching me, sharing your expertise and giving up your time. I cannot appreciate you enough!

To our incredible vets, farriers, physios Marshall, Tony and everyone else who has kept the horses in tip top shape.

It's been a tough year. And unfortunately, these things happen 🤦‍♀️

We were off to a great and late start with the season, and then illness struck again. After a bad run with 4 different illnesses back to back. My immune system has decided not to function properly.

Currently, I am not able to ride, BUT I am still available for lessons at our property from next Wednesday.

We are taking bookings for the lead up to Christmas, and yes, this does involve weekends 🙌

I will update when we are able to take schoolers again, and hopefully, it will not be long! PM to book in for lessons

A super excited Rios Might was a rather exhilarating ride at Feildings training day, but he jumped super overall.
