Animal Care & Sales Assistant
Part Time - must be available weekends

We are looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic Pet Shop Assistant to provide excellent customer service and ensure the well-being of pets in our care. If you have a love for animals, enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, and are eager to contribute to a fun and dynamic team, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Greet and assist customers with pet product inquiries, including food, toys, accessories, and grooming supplies.
- Provide expert advice on pet care, products, and nutrition.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Assist in caring for the animals, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring their health.
- Ensure stock levels are maintained and assist in inventory management.
- Handle cash transactions, process sales, and assist with opening/closing duties.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and products to provide top-notch service to our customers.
Requirements:
- Certificate in Animal Care is a plus but not required
- Previous experience in retail or similar pet care environment is a plus but not required.
- Passion for animals and pet care.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and move pet supplies.
- A flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
