Last foal of the season safely on the ground 🤗 a very big c**t out of the RP/Arab mare Ferrero Rocher, Sire of foal Golden Strike. Both Mare & foal are doing well 🥰

Saw this foal leading hack on FB the other day and thought I would give it a try. Nilloh Icecream Sundae and her filly A***n Butterscotch needed to be shifted across the road and its always a drama making sure we all get across safely. Not today though! Everything went sooooo smoothly!! It bloody works a treat! I added a butt rope just to make sure we kept moving forward and used a hack size halter.🤗 A smaller halter would of fit better but it still worked fine. 👌video in the comments. 👇

Little A***n Gold Locket (Mello) is hiding a little secret 😉 I just got her colour test results back 😁 palomino with silver! 🥰 super happy about that! Colour genetics are fascinating!
I know no good horse (or pony) is a bad colour; however knowing how colour genetics work sure does help you avoid breeding colours you don't want and increase your chances of breeding the colours you like!
So it definately has its place in my breeding program. 🤗

Last one to foal is our lovely Ferrero Rocher. 'Billie' is in foal to Golden Strike😁 foal will either chestnut or pally, mature full height pony, hopefully with some bling too 🤩 This is Billies 2nd foal. She produced a lovely part bred welsh chestnut filly called Dolly last season whos got moves like Jagger. This foal should be able to boogie too. Billie is by Brookfields Up Tempo out of the arab mare Ziggy Stardust.

Been a while since I've posted about this mare. Chantilly Cream (Tilly) sec B 5yo mare by Fairys Sungold of Kitford out of Nilloh Ice Cream Sundae. Tilly has had a really tough life for a young pony. She's cheated death not once, not twice but three times! She's taught me so much in the short amount of time she's been on this earth. Thank you for that Tilly 😘

Really proud of these two this morning at the Wairarapa A&P Show.
A***n Silver Dawn, 2yo WMP Champion Welsh Purebred Youngstock Overall, A***n La Vie En Rose (Dolly), yearling PB filly, Champion Partbred Youngstock. Both girls missed out on Supreme in their sections to the adult ponies. Big atmosphere for them both with lots going on, Dolly slipped her bridle at one point while we were waiting on the side lines 🫣 big thank you to the kind lady who helped hold on to her till I could get it back on lol!! Also big thank you to Amelia Klitscher for wrangling both ponies in the ring and doing a fantastic job and to my son for being best pony babysitter on the sidelines. Thank you to the show organizers, volunteers, judges and sponsors. Will definitely be back next year 🤗
