This is us 🤍

We have got our family down to 6sows and 9 Boars. As of now we have made the decision to keep this number the max of our zoo along with our 4 cats. I will always be an advisor and be a guide with rehomes but will no longer bring any more Guinea pigs under my care.

Some of these piggy’s will still be available for the right fit if we get approached but we are in no rush to rehome them. As of the others I have major loyalties to the last owners and/or they are too close to heart to rehome eg. My very first boys and girls

We have had nearly 40 Guinea pigs come and go and what an incredible journey it has been. I want to thank everyone who has trusted me with their loved Guinea pigs and everyone who has giving us support right from the start. We appreciate all the love, blankets, veggies and hay. I will still continue to post on this page and give updates on my zoo. And you will see any Guinea’s in need of a new home on this page too.

I began this adventure to help with my mental health and get myself out of bed each day. Mission succeeded.

Thankyou so much for everyone who has given/ is giving us fresh new blankets. Today we had a full reset. Said goodbye to all of our blankets, cages, some of the hide outs. This system is going to make it a lot easier for us hoomans to clean the areas and handle the pigs easier.

Still a working processes, so will show the final in a few weeks!!

Two years ago this month I started my Guinea pig journey getting my first 2 pigs Pepsy and Mocka.

If you don’t know already I was in a very unwell mental state and decided to get them to help me get up in the morning. I’m a happy healthy person now with a massive obsession!

This week we lost our pepsy boy. One of the hardest deaths so far 💔 we will miss you pepsy our OG!

We have had quite a few piggy’s come and go the last few weeks, rescued, passed,rehome And even one come back! But I want to post about our sweet girl loafie who was rehomed to live with my mum and her new pig friend poppy. Since loafie lost her partner indie poppy was in need of a buddy so it was a match made. She’s living the best life there! Poppy had adjusted to Loafies lethal antiques very well and they are becoming best buds. We miss seeing her at the zoo but at least she’s not far away and can give cuddles whenever we want!!

I have a 8 month old female guinea pig in need of a home!

Tonight we say goodbye to our eldest girl Indie. She had an incredible 5 YEARS of life and luckily enough spent her last few months of life in the zoo which I promised would be her last home. She was a very shy gal who grew a lot of confidence within her time with us. She was one happy girl and grew such a special bond with our lethal Guinea Loafie ( deaf and blind ) they loved to cuddle each other like pictured bottom right. She was also doing extremely well at being with other Guinea pigs. we will all miss you dearly Indie especially Loafie.

Indie passed away in her sleep due to old age. She lived a full life and was ready to rest. She passed in her loved green tunnel that was passed onto us with her.

Everytime I rescue a new pig I stop off at my mums place before I head home for some cuddles.. this girl here claimed her human and never left.

I got an update on Gizmo and Jeff from the classroom.

I have never seen more confident pigs in my life!! The videos iv seen are unbelievable and they are sooo loved and spoilt. So glad they are living the best life ever 🥰❤️

We have had Pugsley inside with us the last 24 hours after noticing his eye has gone Blue - it’s cause from a good poke to the eye most likely from hay.

This whole 24hours he has been completely himself, still eating, it doesn’t seem to bother him and he can still see movement with the eye. If it was to get gunky or worse you’d think it would by now! he is back with the boys now but we will be keeping a close eye on him and will get him into the vets asap if needed.. it may get better and go away, it may get worse! It may just stay as it is which will result him to having mild cataract.
