Kilmarnock is a private pre-training and agistment property owned by Andrew and Sarah Scott

Kilmarnock is a purpose built equine facility supporting Wexford Stables, it is situated just 2km from Matamata, New Zealand’s most famed Thoroughbred Racing town. The property boosts

• 28 Boxes
• 10 horse Magnum Walker
• 750m Sand Track
• Barrier Stall
• Round Yard
• 20 Spelling Paddocks

Our exp

erience, expertise and eye for detail, ensures each horse is given an appropriate individual plan through the pretraining stage of its preparation, allowing every opportunity for success when race day arrives. Our main goal with pre-training is to develop a horse’s fitness base prior to their return to Wexford Stables to commence a racing campaign.

To be successful securing a role with us you will need to be a capable track rider, have extensive and sound equine knowledge, be a hard working individual and a team player. AL AZHAR impressed today with a win at her first trial outing. Kilmarnock have taken a racing share for our team who all now have a share in this filly. Kilmarnock Racing Partnership will race her with Jasmine Casey and she will proudly sport Jasmine’s father’s golden Valachi colours. She’s a special filly and we can’t wait until race day . Looking forward to a few outings on this filly 🔵🟡
