Enjoying some quiet time with our girl Polly.
Using a photo app I managed to make this photo of her this afternoon. Must go and find or take some photos to put in our Collie club calendar our club is doing this year.

Only ten days til Christmas Day!
This fella is tuckered out! He made his bed all by himself too!!! And now he’s dreaming bless him.
Going to be a chilly night tonight. Flash has already found his spot where he is warm and able to keep watch on what’s happening outside, heaven forbid a bird land on his fence!
Polly at 9yrs old has a spring in her step still. Enjoying a moment in the sun with her this afternoon. Such a beautiful warm spring day.
When your stuck at home and isolating in your bedroom because some one unknowingly passed you Covid what better company than being looked after and watched over by a Collie. I’ve been a Novid for the duration of covid and have no idea where I picked it up but man it is nasty. Worst pain in my head I’ve ever had. It started with being tired on Wednesday evening and waking up on Thursday with the worst head pain which I thought might of been a bad sinus infection. It has then progressed to body pain, a irritated and stuffy but at times slightly runny nose and a slightly sore throat. Panadol hardly touched the edge of it. We decided when hubby got home to do a covid test on Thursday and after having done so many over the last how ever many years all negative then seeing it was positive was a bit of a shock. Even when hubby had Covid in January I never got it. Now trying to find out how I can vote as I’ll still be isolating on election day.
Good day out at our Collie club meet up and Match day. Then a nice walk down to the river. Some lovely spots and on the way back we found the Daphne patch that smelt absolutely delightful.
While Lassie made the Collie breed famous, Collies have been treasured for over a century for their legendary herding and guarding talents. Working in the
Old towels in the door way to dry wet feet are just too irresistible for our Stryder. Still just a puppy at 14 months! Flash did a great job at distracting him with a tiny stick which let me retrieve the stolen towel! All good fun.
Sadly I’m posting these photos in memory of our beloved Annie. Gone much too soon two weeks ago. We entrusted her to a loving and caring home with a lady in Northland where Annie was loved very much and had a life of walks on the beach and looking after her human. We will always remember your pretty face and gentleness Annie and the times we spent with you and your sister Pearl at home playing and at shows and taking photos to get a good one to go into our Collie clubs calendar. You were my most photogenic dog ever. We are all gutted your life was taken away by cancer and we will never know why. May you be at peace now my first born Collie girl!
The dog itself - or rather her breed - that might need saving, as rough collies have fallen dramatically out of favour with British pet owners.
Happy New Year!
Hope your all enjoying the great weather. Found a new function on my phone so thought I’d post a photo of our boy Flash. He just loves fetching things.
😂😂😂
Burrito's social media following is so big that news of his disappearance has prompted dog owners from all over Auckland to join the search.
I've just reached 500 followers! Thank you for continuing support. I could never have made it without each and every one of you. 🙏🤗🎉

I just had to give it a go! When Chloe’s snooter is that close to your face you just need to have a one on one conversation!!!
Stryder is keeping me on my toes! He even finds things like pens that I’ve lost, loves helping to hang out the washing too and rearranging his bed. Enjoy the video.
A bit dry on the lawn! Not a great example of a game of Fetch either with Chloe, and her parents Flash and Pearl.
We picked up a dog travel box for the Ute. The girls inspected it in the rain a few days ago wearing their raincoats. If you watch til near the end Pearl looks quite comical as she gets up on two legs to check it’s roof out.
First time Ruby has played with this ball so thought it only fair she should get her screen time too!
Late evening outside tonight with Flash, Polly, Pearl & Annie. Ruby over on the deck sounding the alarm which they ignored.
After Ruby came home from the groomers she just had to smooch and roll around on the mat. She loves being inside!
Ruby (Rivendell’s Ruby Diamond) Sister to our tri girl Polly (Rivendell’s Mistress of Magic) but born the litter after Polly, playing with an old pair of socks tonight. Sadly this lass has had a misfortunate start to life so we have taken her on and are re educating her. A slow process but we will get there. Crate training her to start with and lots of play time with her and petting is helping her come round to us and helping with her fears. She has now been fully vaccinated and has had her teeth cleaned and blood test results are all normal so no reason to not get her sorted. Grooming to be done next now her coat is grown back as she was sadly shaved by the last groomer in the summer that her previous owner had taken her too. Something that should never be done to a double coated dog.
A fun time before the rain sets in of catch me if you can with Flash’s favourite toy a stick from off the old plum tree.
