The team is heading to Racing Tauranga this afternoon, with four horses on the truck 🏇

PROSEGUR (Masa Hashizume, barrier 7) will line up in race 1 at 12.29pm. She continues to grow in confidence every run. Stepping up in distance today, she’s our best winning chance of the day.

I'MUNSTOPPABLE (Ace Lawson-Carroll, barrier 9) will line up in race 3 at 1.35pm. Kicking off her new campaign today, she will enjoy the heavy conditions and should put in a strong performance.

MISS BO PEEP (pictured) (Masa Hashizume, barrier 8 ) will line up in race 4 at 2.10pm. She’s gone the right way since her impressive fresh up performance. The heavy going shouldn’t worry her and we’re expecting another strong performance today.

TE ATATU MEMPHIS (Lynsey Satherley, barrier 10) will line up in race 5 at 2.43pm. He finally gets conditions to suit! He’s a very fit horse, that will relish the heavy track and represents good E/W value.

We're looking forward to a busy afternoon at Te Aroha today! 🏇

RIBKRAKA (Kevin Stott, barrier 5) will line up in race 1 at 12.42pm. He's trailed well heading into today and his work at home has been pleasing. He'll be better over more ground but the team is still expecting a strong performance today.

MASSARI (Masa Hashizume, barrier 5) will line up in race 2 at 1.18pm. On debut today, she brings good levels of education to raceday. She's a fast filly who should be right in the finish.

SHE'S ALL THAT (Masa Hashizume, barrier 4) will line up in race 3 at 1.49pm. She brings strong trial form to her raceday debut. From a good gate and with a good jockey on board, we're expecting a competitive performance, with improvement to come.

MY SHARONA (Masa Hashizume, barrier 3) will line up in race 4 at 2.23pm. Another that comes into her debut with good levels of education, she will take further improvement from raceday experience.

CUPID'S ARROW (Masa Hashizume, barrier 8 ) will line up in race 6 at 3.26pm. A horse that's in for a good summer, she's a real improver post today's run. She's a horse you can follow with confidence and we're expecting her to rip through the grades this season.

JUNGLELAND (Masa Hashizume, barrier 13) will line up in race 7 at 4.04pm. Another that will take improvement from today's run, he wasn't far away last season and a win won't elude him for much longer.

ALAVISTO (Kevin Stott, barrier 11) will also line up in race 7. His two runs to date have been on soft footing and he'll be better suited by the better ground today. In a fresh state today, he's had one trial to prepare for raceday.

CHECKMATE (Masa Hashizume, barrier 4) will line up in race 8 at 4.45pm. An eye-catcher on debut, he's got a very bright future and we see him as our best winning chance of the day.

SAXS 'N' SILKS (Craig Grylls, barrier 11) will also line up in race 8. She's gone the right way following her fresh up run and doesn't need to be doing much more to be very competitive today.

Following in the footsteps of stablemates HANKEE ALPHA (Te Aroha), TEXAS HOLD EM’ (Ellerslie) and SMOKOTIME (Pukekohe), SMART LOVE provided the team with another exciting three-year-old win on Saturday 🤩

TIME TRAVELLER (Masa Hashizume, barrier 7) will line up in race 1 at 12.25pm. He's taken good confidence from his last start win. He's a fit horse that stays well and will be competitive again today.

DO YOU JUST (Masa Hashizume, barrier 5) will line up in race 3 at 1.30pm. He's had three trials to prepare for raceday. The blinkers go on, his focus levels are improving all the time and the big roomy Te Rapa track should suit. We're expecting a competitive performance on debut, with improvement to come.

GERIATRIX (Masa Hashizume, barrier 11) will line up in the Listed Legacy Lodge Sprint at 3.22pm. He flew home last start and we're expecting a similar performance today. He loves Te Rapa, will sprint well and can go one better today!

LITTLE BIT OF LOVE (Donavan Mansour, barrier 1) will also line up in the Listed Legacy Lodge Sprint. Another that loves Te Rapa, he's fresh up today and although he may find the distance a fraction sharp, he's an incredibly honest horse that always gives his best.

UDERZO (Ace Lawson-Carroll, barrier 10) will line up in the Listed Legacy Lodge Sprint. He's got a great fresh up record and we're hoping to see that again today! He's had two trials to prepare, has worked well leading into today and it wouldn't surprise us if he's right in the finish.

SMART LOVE (Masa Hashizume, barrier 3) will line up in race 7 at 3.57pm. Our best winning chance of the day, she does't have to do a lot more to get her well deserved win. From a good gate and out to the mile, she should be hard to beat.

The team is heading to Pukekohe Park this afternoon, with three horses set to make their raceday debut 🐎

PHOEBE BUFFAY (Kevin Stott, barrier 3) will line up in race 3 at 1.38pm. She's trailed well and trained even better heading into today. She's been patiently handled and we believe she's worth the wait. We're expecting a cheeky run on debut.

CRACKERCOL (Sam Spratt, barrier 10) will line up in race 4 at 2.13pm. A full brother to our Group 1 winner, WAITAK, he's trailed well heading into his debut and his work has been solid. He's got the breeding to do it!

SMOKOTIME (Kevin Stott, barrier 3) will line up in race 7 at 3.58pm. Another on debut today, he's worked well, will be aided by blinkers and we're expecting a strong performance over the 1400m trip.

HAPPY MELBOURNE CUP DAY! The team are heading to Ellerslie with two horses on the truck 🏇

TEXAS HOLD 'EM (Kevin Stott, barrier 4) will line up in race 4 at 2.08pm. He's taken any amount of improvement from his first raceday appearance. He's worked well heading into today and from a good gate, he should put in an improved performance.

DUA DANCE (Ace Lawson-Carroll, barrier 2) will also line up in race 4. She's a filly with any amount of ability, but she just needs to be doing things better on raceday. If she gets it right today, she will atone for her first starts.

The team is heading to Racing Tauranga this afternoon. The track is currently graded as a Soft 5 and rail is in the true position.

PROSEGUR (Masa Hashizume, barrier 7) will line up in race 1 at 12.12pm. A promising filly that has gone the right way since her winning debut. While we would have liked to have seen her draw a little better, we’re confident she'll be booming home. She's a filly we have our sights set on bigger targets for throughout the summer.

INCREDIBLE (Kevin Stott, barrier 6) will line up in race 4 at 1.52pm. A horse that’s going well and is in for a good staying season. Stayers can sprint well fresh and it wouldn’t surprise us if he fills a minor placing today.

TANGANIKA (Masa Hashizume, barrier 11) will line up in race 6 at 3.08pm. He’s another that’s coming up well and is a horse we believe can get through to the top grade. If he gets favours from the wide gate, he’ll be flying home.

LUX LIBERTAS (pictured) (Masa Hashizume, barrier 5) will line up in race 9 at 5.10pm. She faces a steep rise in class today, but she's a promising mare who's yet to put a foot wrong. From a low gate and with a light weight, she gets a few favours today.

JUJU POP (Ace Lawson-Carroll, barrier 16) will line up in race 10 at 5.50pm. She’s going well on the training track and we're hoping to see her bounce back into form today. She'll need luck from gate.

About us

Established in 1961 with legendary trainer Dave O’Sullivan, Wexford Stables is one of the oldest training facilities in New Zealand.

Wexford have won every major race on the New Zealand racing calendar, various group 1s in Australia, including the Cox Plate and the Japan Cup, which at the time was the world’s richest race.

Our highly experienced staff, vets, farriers, chiropractors and trainers ensure that every horse at Wexford is provided with the best care possible. We recognise that every horse is a unique individual and we tailor extensive training plans for each horse, preparing them for specific targets.

Constant communication with our owners is a priority, with Lance and Andrew sending weekly videos, photos and updates of horse's progress via Ardex.
