Mapperley stud has sold a number of top class racehorses in the Book 2 sale. Our 2023 draft who are now 3 year-olds has already produced 2 stakes winners in He’s Lucid & Beau Dazzler and the stakes performed Lavender Haze.

ARMORY - 2YO FORM IS KING

A sharp 2 year-old, Armory raced 7 times in his juvenile season, winning 3 of his first 4 starts including a Gr.2 and Gr.3.

Racing at the elite Gr.1 level for the rest of the season, he finished 2nd behind Champion 2 year-old Pinatubo in the Gr.1 National Stakes before adding further Gr.1 placings in the Criterium International and Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere.

Mapperley Stud is pleased to present a quality line-up of yearlings at the New Zealand Bloodstock yearling sales starting on Sunday 26th January. Our draft consists of yearlings by proven Gr.1 sire as well as our exciting first season sire , an electric 2 year-old who trained on be crowned champion 3YO & 4YO as an older horse. First season sire excitement doesn't stop there with 2 lovely fillies by Australian sires St Mark's Basilica and Wild Ruler.

These yearlings have have grown up on the same rolling hills as Gr.1 star mare . Racetrack success of our graduates continues year on year, with our 2023 draft already producing two individual stakes winner in Beau Dazzler and He's Lucid as well as the stakes performed Lavender Haze.

We had a great time welcoming everyone on the NZB Tour group to the stud this afternoon to view our impressive line-up of yearlings heading to later this month.

Great to see such a big turn out today., some keen eyes on the lookout to find the next stakes winner from the rolling hills of Mapperley. Both He’s Lucid and Beau Dazzler are Spring 3YO stakes winners from our 2023 draft.

A massive thanks to the team for presenting our draft in immaculate order today. The fun continues tomorrow with more parades schedule in the lead up to the sale.
