The whole of New Zealand has moved to the red traffic light setting as of 11.59pm Sunday 23 January.
The traffic light settings allow businesses to stay open and operate while minimising the virus’ spread. This helps keep vulnerable people safe.
How does this affect your veterinary care?
🔹A vaccine pass is required for entry into the clinic building, we have put this in place to protect you and our staff to ensure we can stay open to care for your animals to the best of our ability. Please don't be offended when our staff ask to sight your vaccine pass.
🔹If you are unable to present a vaccine pass or wear a face mask, please let us know in advance. We will continue to provide for you and your animals with the care they require and deserve and will arrange for a contactless option.
🔹If you are sick, please do not come into the clinic.
🔹Mask wearing is compulsory when you come into the clinic.
🔹Please phone ahead with orders to minimise time in our clinic. Contactless orders are preferred.
🔹Please remember we have a delivery service available. Take advantage of this where possible.
🔹Please maintain 1 metre distance between people when in the clinic.
Most importantly, regardless of your vaccination status, we will still be able to offer you our services and care for your animals as we always have done. It just may look a little different than it has done in the past, but we will ensure your experience is as smooth as possible.
We are doing all we can to help you and your animals through this difficult time and we appreciate your cooperation as we follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and the NZVA.
