We have a few customers coming in and asking "What do I do with these!" when looking at the hairy cows ears ๐ฎ
The hairy cows ears are actually a great healthy treat option to give your dog. The hair essentially works as a magnet and can help remove any parasites from your dogs digestive tract and also helps give them a good clean out. Not only is it great for their digestive system it also works as a natural toothbrush/mouth cleaner! The hair fibres on the treat work to remove any plaque from their gums and teeth. It also works as dental floss and helps to get rid of any leftover food stuck inbetween their teeth which will help with that stinky doggy breath smell. You will notice some hair when it comes out the other end but no need to panic because you know its doing exactly what itโs meant to do!! ๐พ๐ฆ
You can also use it as an enrichment toy/treat for your dog. Emersyn has stuffed her cows ears with hare mince and venison mince and added her toppings to make meal time for fun and also for some mental stimulation ๐ง
