This is Jerry.
Jerry was brought to us as a little wild kitten.
He had been living in an industrial area and was trapped by a pest control company who brought him to us to be euthanised.
Jerry was absolutely terrified and defended himself in the only way he knew; hissing, scratching and biting.
But we saw through the terror to the cute kitten underneath and gave him the time and love he needed.
Slowly, very slowly, Jerry learnt to trust us.
He learnt that not all humans are scary and mean.
He learnt that chin scratches are so good!
He learnt how to purr.
He learnt how to play with other cats.
Jerry has won over all our hearts and is now 5months old and living quite happily at Bayfair Vets with Squeak, our other resident cat.
But we can see that he needs more stimulation in his young life. Living in a vet clinic is only half a life and we just know that there is a family out there that would love to give Jerry the home he deserves.
He loves other cats and is only a little bit scared of dogs. He will be a bit timid of new people first but you’ll soon win him over with breakfast and dinner.
