We hope everyone had a fantastic Christmasπ and is enjoying time with family and friends π¨βπ©βπ¦. I just had to share this video sent to me by one of my Lovely regulars playing with part of their Christmas presents this year. Makes my day to see them enjoying a bit of Love Pups during the break β€οΈβ€οΈ
Apologies for being MIA fam. As some of you know, summer and especially Christmas time, work loads explode for groomers. I am doing nearly 3x as many dogs as I usually do in any given month and haven't taken any new customers as December has been booked for months π Anywho, Sometimes we just need a little extra help... So Miss Molly saw the need and offered to dry herself.
Thank you Molly. I love your empathy π β€οΈπ₯°
A different kind of story time ππ
I think grooming at home has broken my Cat π π π
This is Pea Metal... The most anti social, skittish cat around.π
He was born and seemingly abandoned by his mother at about 5 weeks old on a rural property 6 years ago with his sister when my daughter brought them home (I wasn't as excited as she was π). PHOTO IN THE COMMENTS π
These 2 have been with us ever since and although his sister (pebbles) enjoys a cuddle, on her terms, Pea metal would always give a wide berth.
Well I think between being in lockdown and now grooming from home I have managed to break the Cat π π π π»
That moment your customer knows he must be due for a pamper and a cut π π₯° Love you Denny, see you Monday
Lovely to see you two again. Thanks for the laughs πππ€£
Roxie and Ziggy, β€οΈπ
ππ Good Morning Love Pups family ππ.
I have been asked a few times now about tips for washing dogos at home during lockdown so I have made a quick video and listed some tips below.β¬οΈβ¬οΈβ¬οΈ
I used at home equipment instead of my grooming bath etc to show your normal home environment.π‘π€
Please feel free to ask more questions as we navigate through these weird times :) β€οΈ
π EXTRA TIPS For At Home Washing πΏπ‘
* When using water π¦ avoid getting in ears by coming in from the top of the head or using a cloth. Wet around the mouth by putting water on a cloth...πΏπ« Not direct from shower head to avoid water in nose.
* Avoid getting shampoo around eyes π.
* For a better lather use a soft loofer π§½
* Putting your pup on a small table can help with keeping your pup in one area while using hairdryer. β‘οΈβ‘οΈ Be super careful your dog does not jump off or they may injure themselvesβ
* Make sure your hairdryer is on a low heat and keep it moving to avoid your pup getting hotβ
* Use a Slicker brush to brush through and knots after drying.
Again, thank you for all your kind messages. Please feel free to pm me if you have any questions β€οΈππ€π
Day 2 and I miss everyone πβ€οΈ.... Please show me how much your pups love having you home for lockdown πππππ
Super hero Oscar πΎ.... The ability to snooze through anything. Excuse me laughing at wee Jasper in the background. π π π
This is why I love what I do.π€©πΎ When I started grooming Miss Molly in 2019 she absolutely hated being brushed and with a coat that knots easily there plenty. Over time I have worked with Molly and now..... I can comb her, stopping in between to let her smell the comb so she knows what I am doing. WELL DONE MISS MOLLYβΌοΈ So proud of youππ₯°
No comments necessary aye Bobby... I have missed you π I love the smiling at the end π
