When Daisy said she was off to Monte Carlo she actually meant she was off to see Monte Carlo 😳.
After talking with Monte’s co-pirate we strongly suspect she isnt just coming home with souvenirs but some silver and smokey treasures in her belly.
We all have our fingers and polydactyl toes crossed that all goes well and we have a reveal in early October 🖤🩶🤍.

“We’ve been screaming like banshees day and night for the past two months about the Captain’s performance. We’ve jumped ship to spend time with more swashbuckling pirates with bigger guns and cannon balls to match. We will see you when we’ve had our fill!”

The happy couple. 2025 will see these two breeding, all going well.
With a Black Smoke and a Brown Tabby Tortie with White can you guess the possible results. I just did the calculation and it blew my mind. Still waiting for Molly’s DNA results and if she carries a dilute gene it will double the already crazy amount. Feel free to start guessing the combinations. There are 40 that I know of. And all those can be Polydactyl and non Polydactyl. Which makes 80 types 😳

Happy 6 months to the Pirate who plundered my heart - Captain. My laid back smoochy stud. 🖤🤍

His genetic testing came back today. All clear for everything. A nice surprise, he carries a recessive dilute gene. This means he can produce every colour offspring, dependant on the queen. Bring it on big boy!!

I thought he might be calmer with a friend and he was. Just a little spew on Daisy and himself.
Cleaned up ready for the trip home. Daisy starts snarling at Captain. I pull over. Rip Daisy out of the cage. Captain sh*ts everywhere but none on Daisy 🤦‍♀️.
Thank goodness he is such a good cat to shower. He just sits on my lap (me trying not to gag).
Snuggled in the heated throw together having a snuggle after trauma for us both.

What a fantastic experience at the NZCF cat show in Palmerston North this weekend. Not many photos because I was too busy listening.
I can’t thank the other Maine C**n breeders enough. They were so welcoming and shared their knowledge willingly. I got to meet and view some amazing examples of C**nies (even a few that are famous in the MC show world). I’m still blown away by the size some of the boys get to and many are still growing.

Blueberry PP, 7 months - all DNA tests in and clear of genetic traits.
Softest fur, gentlest nature, biggest snuggler and yes, a lap cat. She really doesn’t like the camera but she was in a generous mood this afternoon. I love this girl and her four massive polydactyl paws so much.
